there's no moving canopy but if you use the canopy switch, it does reduce outside/engine sound

can't seem to get my canopy down! odd and LOUD!!!

I also don't think the rolling thing is that big of a deal, the thing is a stealth fighter than can fly at mach fuck and can carry an entire countries GDP worth of missiles, I think it's pretty balanced lol

The mod is not just cool, it's awesome, but I have to say about a couple of bugs. I don't know why, but the flight assistant constantly directs the plane down, which you need to constantly fight, and from this the plane can stall. Personally, I would like to see TDS in addition, but these are personal wishes. Anyway, this is a great mod, everyone should try it, and to the creator, thank you so much for this mod, I've been waiting for this for a long time

Can you make a sr72 mod by chance?

I tweaked a little, but not a drastic change. Almost the same stat as ai asf58 but still slower to roll.

@Yoda, can you help with the rolling issue? or potentially improve the flight mechanics of the aircraft?

also, rolling is slightly difficult in the asf-58, it's slow, unlike the normal in-game aircraft. makes it harder to jink incoming gunfire

he prob expected it to be black, since the external color is a mix of grey and black, he prob would like it to be black. honestly though, i dislike the blue color, though it doesn't bother me too much.

You either have to use vr headset or flatscreen mod to do this. First you have to go past Carrier Air Boss scene and arrive at main menu screen where you can see the Mod menu button, then click mission editor. Basically, to create a Custom Campaign you must load mod plane first and then go to mission editor. And try not to load all the planes because it could crash the game.

i think the problem is that im trying to use the "Jank EA-6B" in a mission, im not trying to use a already in-game aircraft. correct me if im wrong.

i did, its still very confusing "add vanilla planes alongside modded planes" im in the campaign editor and i can only add vanilla planes, how do i add modded planes.

I love the aircraft the only thing that annoys me is the color of the cockpit.

There's TVC button on your left. Try it out in the Free Flight (inside free flight) mission where you start on the ground. Turn on the engines (one by one) and set to full throttle and click TVC button. It will be more visible in low speeds. Also check Log menu in the MFD. There will be a message if it is Enabled or Disabled.

Yoda, question, how do you get the thrust vectoring engines to work? ASF-58 for me, doesn't have the thrust vectoring, and it's harder to maneuver at slower speeds. At higher speeds though, it's completely fine. Could it be a one-person problem? Who knows....

i do like that i can go 1 million feet straight up it is very fun

Does it shake or does it oscillate? If it shakes then yeah let's keep it. If it oscillates then that's my bad.

also, load custom weapons base AFTER loading modded planes. it is so that CWB recognizes the aircraft and can properly apply the missiles

no, it's because the plane is unstable. if you are overspeeding, the airframe will shake around due to it quite literally falling apart. don't fix this

Unsubscribe Jank_Missiles and subscribe it again. Sometimes it doesn't update automatically. I just checked and aim120 and r77 are available.

Also i do not know if this is intended but the 58 is missing all of its fox 3 armament. i have CWB + all the other jank missiles installed and they work on every single other jet except this one. thought i should mention this anyway
