After confirming that 19 spaces between trees was good horizontally and vertically, I painfully planted and replanted the tree in an arc to test the bounds of Beyond Divinity. turns out it's roughly a 39 x 39 circle with the tree in the center. It just has some extra bits inside the circle at the cardinal directions that should be fine but aren't.
This is mostly here for me to look back at in the future in case I forget. I love the mod by the way, it's awesome, Beyond Divinity is totally overkill, but it's worth seeing the plant bois go. I'm doing my first anomaly run and the clawers and berrymakers are helping me keep the farm tended to.
Any information would be appreciated.
Same shrines multiple times work as well
Some must be near the tree, some can be far away, it will tell you when each is needed
Size mostly affects cost, which will be needed on later levels
Not sure about Jade's properties, but the most costly shrine i've found is 3k gold
Didn't find animus stones yet.
Their pruning speed is changedto increases their buffs from high level trees.
@he who divided by zero
Iirc. I haven’t changed that. You could probably modify it yourself though.
@Jacubus
Build more shrines (etc.) to increase the number of dryads.
Until you have a tree level high enough to get 3 dryads it is better to use the other castes.
great mod, have a good day <33
and sorry for bothering and being stupid qwq
Whenever I plant a Dryad tree and connect it to a pawn, automatically for some reason the default desirable value wont move from 0, and when I move it it goes back after a few ticks, then I tried cheating and with GodMode enable put the tree to 100 of his values and then after a few tick went down to 25, and it will stay there permanently.
Is this suppose to be like this or am I doing something wrong?
The 100% level is unlocked by becoming a modder!
"just beyond reach"
Usually the issue is that you have it too close to another Gauranlen Tree. The easter-egg-tier levels are extremely picky.
@WREN_PL
Truly Divine is the intended max. Anything beyond that was more intended as a secret, hence why the UI doesn't tell your about it.
@CaptainSpam
The % isn't representative of the level, It never reaches 100% because after 90% each 1% just corresponds to one extra dryad. It is mostly there in case another modder wants a tree/castes that spawns a ton more dryads.
Nevermind, it seems the max for 1.6 has been changed to 8 Animus stones. 1.5 has a max of 12. Check if your connected pawn has a +42 mood buff as that should be the last level.
For 1.6 "Beyond Divinity" is at 8 stones and "Truly Divine?" is at 6 stones.
Information regarding the levels can be found in GaurenLevelDefs.xml, and for the buffs given to pawns you can find those in Hediffs.xml
I even tried using dev mode, but still can't reach max level.
Just in case it was a bug (which i dont think it is?), I restarted the game, re-downloaded the mod, and broke/restored connection to the tree.
That sounds like something broken. The consciousness is using regular vanilla XML methods for scaling. Probably you've got something setting Pruning speed to infinity or something? That is what it scales.
@Tal'Raziid
It should grow at least one, but they will need some shrines to level up.
@Spesh
If you want you can change the XML. I don't currently have a setting for it though.
@Flurbel
I've not implemented anything like that.
Also, whats the maximum amount of animus stones a tree will accept? Does it just keep going up until the limit of the tree radius?
The mod option that turns of harmony-building penalties basically just multiplies those penalties by 0 to make the building have no negative effect.
It was a bit of a quick-fix solution.
Also the red lines still show up pointing to my fences when i toggle the harmony-building interaction off and restarted; are the red lines unrelated to that option?
That box is used as a bit of a level indicator instead. Also for compatibility reasons I didn't want to delete it.
Risk of some random mass-tweak mod somewhere exploding if I did.
@Septentrix
Seems to be some issue with the cleaning job of the carriers. I'll see if I can reproduce it myself later.
@Sammich
Slightly. Their increase pruning ability means their buffs from a high-level tree will be higher.
@MrT
Thanks Mr. T :D
