You would need to take invidual blueprints of the subgrids. I think ctrl+shift+b will do it. Then weld up the base. Put a projector on the rotor with the cab bp, etc.

How does one print this in survival given that projectors can’t do subgrids (to my knowledge)?

This is neat! Looks a bit challenging to print in survival, but otherwise quite the practical build there. How effective might you say this design would be for leveling out terrain for base placement and expansion?

I've got one like this, I took the dog excavator from splitsies scrapyard scenario, took the bucket off and put a landing gear with rotor on the end, threw on a couple programmable blocks and wheels on the base.

Not the most useful (need to embed some pistons for extra reach) but looks very cool.

Oh, I'm not the first by any means. The more the merrier.

you should post it anyway. perhaps each of your excavators can come together and make a baby which can serve as the next-generation excavator
