The laser sights ARE NOT useless without this mod, They make your shots have less spread.

It's part of nightmare's arcadey balance, if you want to reduce recoil you have to use laser sights, or crouch. There's a huge difference between choosing to complain under a single gun recoil mod amongst 1000 other different gun recoil mods without caring to even check context why things are the way they are in this specific version.

That's on purpose, in all seriousness the All Weapons Reanimation mod/the M16 mod in it does break this as the M16 has a new recoil pattern in it, making it completely unusable. So sad, I cry and use default animations.

The Last Stand version of the M16 breaks this mod and is pretty much unusable, truly sad.

What this mod does is cause your crosshair to follow the weapon's spread directly, which means you can control it a lot easier if you actually pay attention. However, it does mean you can't just hold your crosshair over a target and spray, which is a deal breaker for some people I guess.
