@chybrette if the modded item in question has no restriction as to what faction gets the item, then you can use console commands to get that item, if it has faction/race restrictions then you need to create a submod and set the restrictions to: "all" without quotation marks for it to work.

Does it work with modded items ? If not does anyone know if another mod does? :/

@Mumm-Ra I have a mod called (X05) No Follower Restrictions, that gives you followers from all factions, regardless of what faction you play as (It needs and update, but it should still work). Check it out on the Workshop.

i'd like to see 100% no restrictions, even on follower ancillaries. anything that doesn't work can be scrapped and fused to get another random item.

Ah no worries! As much as the Lord-Hero swap mod is a must for me it has a lot of incompatibilities with mods sadly (my blessed Daniel Not Poor mod being another). It does look like some items are working with your awesome mod so im definitely still gonna use it. It may just have been the fact it was an old save i tried yours on.

Maby this needs an update? I can see after a victory an item my side normally cant get but after the post battle results the item it had shown i was gonna get is not in inventory and not listed on the world map equipment gained tab

Does this work with old saves? I have Archaon's armor in inventory and its still greyed out with my daemons of chaos campaign. I made him a hero and hes in my army currently (Lord-Hero mod ftw).
