I'm liking the look of this, has great potential for Sci-Fi Soldier loadouts which are extremely scarce

The textures look way better now! altough the main problem of the whole thing not fitting soldier and not looking like him is still there.
BUT.
I wouldnt be mad if this gets in as long as no other flashy soldier cosmetic gets in (in the following updates) since this does look cool as hell

textures are now updated to better fit the style!

Textures are a bit too noisy and it covers a bit too much of the soldiers head in general, removing the bottom half of the mask while keeping the visor and helmet may work better.

the class recognition wouldnt be a gameplay problem, especially if its halloween restricted,
But, what these comments mean is that it doesnt really fit the soldier, like most couldnt tell the thumbnail image was the soldier at first glance.
Doesnt fit the game nor the class, but it does look very, VERY badass.

Looking at it further I think i agree with most folks that the texturing is discrepant from TF2's style, I personally disagree with the complaints about class recognition though.

Ill see what i can do about updating promo's and this cosmetic to better fit the game.

The texturing and color choice look really off-putting, it just does not fit at all with the rest of soldiers body.

The design and model are quite good, it's just the texturing that completely kills it for me. It needs to be closer to Soldiers body in its colors and materials.

if this got in game you wouldn't be looking at Just the head anyway because you have the entire rest of the soldier to look at. The silhouette and covering of the face are 100% absolutely fine but I do agree it's maybe a little too out of place

@Enthusiast #FixTF2 honestly I knew this was a Soldier cosmetic from the start because of his iconic collar. Like, if you were to straight up take the cosmetic by itself, maybe I could confuse for a Pyro one; but in most in-game situations, you would see the rest of their body. Also, I was referring more or so to the Teufort Knight which is a similar scenario to this cosmetic in how it basically removes the entire identity in whichever class wears it; but I never get confused from seeing it in-game because of the aforementioned circumstances.

looks really good but like everyone else is saying its a bit overdetailed and generally doesnt fit the minimalist approach the tf2 classes go by

@fakershroom, there is a case to be made with something like say, the shortness of breath since it still preserves both of soldier's eyes, back of the head, and general head shape, but this cosmetic just strips away soldier's whole identify from the head to the point where its basically impossible to tell that this is meant for the soldier from the workshop thumbnail alone. Really should have just gone with the top of the helmet and an airbreather instead while keeping soldier's eyes and parts of his skin intact. If anything this cosmetic at a first glance looks more like a pyro head replacement than a soldier helmet.

The texturing and theming doesn't feel like TF2, and i honestly couldn't tell it was for Soldier from the thumbnail. I think this one might be a dud.

I feel like the cosmetic would be much more fitting if the colours were closer to most of the existing cosmetic colours. the better you can pair an item with other ones, the better it fits in

Yeah, it's well done but it doesn't feel like something that belongs in the game, Halloween or otherwise.

I know this is for halloween, but this is a costume not something soldier would actually wear
