@Rabid_Si It's an avorion problem, often times you get turrets facing different directions other than the desired one after shifting your pov. Just move your pov around, select the turret base and press shift T so you enter the turret view and then exit, this will fix the issue 99% of the time

For reference, and for anyone else confused as to how to use the hidden, embedded turrets, the janky way I found to install them is to use the view tool to isolate the turret blocks, select and focus the embedded one you want to install, then turn all the blocks back on in view again. Now, with the block focused, you will need to zoom inside the ship right up close to the block so that the view is inside the block right on top of it. You should then, with a turret selected, be able to (with a little luck and effort) be able to place the turret down. It's janky and finicky, keep trying.

Unless you're using some novel use of the word "normally" that is completely separate from literally everyone else in the known universe, no, you cannot just use them normally, and didn't even attempt to explain what kind of black magic you used to install them.

Maybe it's just me, but i can't use one of the big turrets on top (middle one) and one at the bottom (first one), the gun base is inside of the ship. Can't use the Rocketlaunchers on the side and bottom to, no way to place a turret.
