Moving game & mod launcher from boot SSD to second SSD (reading data from program files x86 used to cause issues years ago)
Ran Steam, VTOL VR & the mod loader with administrator permissions
Accepted the UAC prompt that the mod launcher shows on first launch with the mod installed
Tried multiple different scenarios and aircraft
Tried with and without custom kneeboards in the folder
None of the above worked to fix the crashing.
There’s nothing useful in VTOL VR’s main logs, but in the SteamQueries log for the Mod Loader, the second-to-last line before the crash references Kneeboard

The buttons tend to be obscured by the eject handle grab trigger when using center stick however
