There is one arm in the bath area that opens via a bookshelf + missing book, and another on the left side of the gallery facing the exit door, under a table
2. The game instantly crashes when selecting it from custom stories, is there a way to fix this?
The concept was initially more ambitious than what we released. We planned to introduce completely new monsters, but due to the time limitation, we settled for a modification of one.
The team is working on something else now, but I do not think the project is in its completely final form yet (I still have some left out story that I wrote that is yet to be added) so we'll see what the future holds with the updates!
My main gripe with the mod is that the bunker bunker beast was not that prominent of a threat. Yes, he appeared sometimes but most areas for example the "Greenhouse section" he wasn't a threat there at all and I've done 2 playthroughs.
I get that it was made for a jam and that there was a time limit and only so much could have been made, yet I still wished there was a little more.
At the end of it all I still had plenty of resources to take the beast head on multiple times.
Wonderful mod once again and the credits song was really good.
About the lag issue I don't thing anybody else reported anything simulair. But I will let the rest of the team know 😊
Making sure the mod is currently "1.13" is also important, and can be seen on the custom story image in the menu. If the mod fails to update, unsubscribing and subscribing again will suffice.
- The mod files when you subscribe go to this folder: \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\1944430\3319568488
- Your save files on the other hand reside in here:
C:\Users\"YourUser"\Documents\My Games\Amnesia The Bunker\Mods\Disadventure\"your userid"
"Disadventure: AmnesiaThebunker.exe - Application Error
The instruction at 0x00007ff657640340 referenced memory at 0x00007ff657640340. The memory could not be written.
Click on OK to terminate the program"
Great job!
It had some crash issues (which i got helped with), and sometimes looking for key items felt like a 'needle in a hay stack' situation, considering the huge map.
But all in all, it had a beuatifully crafted enviroment, atmospheric music and interesting progression.
The 1.1 first major patch released just in time for Halloween.
It is important for each player to START A NEW RUN / RESET SAVES, as unforeseen issues could occur otherwise. Here are the patch notes from the update:
- Improved stability and crash fixes
- Minor restructures and details added to world
- Custom light sources overhaul
- Puzzles and progression made more clear at certain points
- More balanced out item placements
- Smaller UI changes
- Tips added to intro on lower difficulties
- SUPER SECRET archive added (password shown in end credits).
Have fun and a Happy Halloween!
I have sent you a friend request, it's possible I am able to provide a solution for you. I want to ask you a few details, but just know we believe we have identified the problem and already fixed it in our current local build (to be tested properly). We will soon release an update fixing this issue and several others, but there might be a way to fix this for you right now, so feel free to reach out to me!

1.1 patch is already in the works and can be expected shortly, mainly aiming at resolving the technical issues feedback has provided!
In any case, I'd try this, as a blind guess. Go to:
C:\Users\Your User\Documents\My Games\Amnesia The Bunker\Mods\
This is where your Bunker save files are located.
Now delete the whole Disadventure folder, and try playing the mod again normally from the start.
Fingers crossed this fixes your issue, do let me know in any case!
otherwise i enjoy the custom story so far
There are only 2 arms. The head is next to the spiral staircase on the left when facing them from the bottom. One of the arms is on the gallery to the right, and the other arm is in a room that opens when you place the book behind the painting on the shelf.
Hope this helped!
