It's a very nice cosmetic, very stylish, very fitting... but then you look at the paint region...

yeah you have a point, tough i think you should make the a desaturation effect for the paint part like the tuxedo royale

If this was a paint region that covered 60% of Medic, you would still be able to see it from the sides and back. The only way you're going to see this is from the front, and even then, Medic's massive team-coloured hands are always going to be in front of him with a medigun that projects an unmissable team-coloured beam onto his teammates.

And even if there are other cosmetics in this game this could be paired with that're paintable, I highly doubt they're as offensive as that one Pyro item combo people're obsessed about bringing up.

I haven't been able to identify what class or team anyone is since 2023 because rage farming youtubers told me any paint region bigger than a badge is bad!

Whoever says that the paint region is ok because there's a cosmetic which already does the same thing is delusional. Doc's Holiday paint region is way smaller and two of its styles have paterns that makes it blend with the coat.

Paint region is fine it's close enough to the Doc's holiday, not to mention the medi-gun/gloves will cover most of his chest.

make the paint region smaller. maybe make it so you can color his belt instead. even that's a little big though.

guys you dont understand! every time im fighting against a medic the first thing i see, is obviously not his giant team colored gloves or his silhouette that features a team colored labcoat, nope! im looking at his chest! his big wide chest... his cloth-covered pecs... his fucking tities... uugghgoighhg

Besides Doc's Holiday, almost every single class has had a cosmetic that gives them a paintable undershirt, and a lot of them have been in the game for well over a decade.

This doesn't do anything different from similar cosmetics that've come before, nor are they as problematic as those examples.

Regarding paint region, I don't think it'd be too much of a problem when it comes to the medic, considering he's primarily identified via his huge red gloves.

Plus, the Doc's Holiday exists if you want to make a direct comparison.

I would prefer this to not have a paint region. I feel it is fine as is and making it paintable would only exacerbate the problems of cosmetics having large paint regions.

Or even compromise and just have it only paint the collar at most that way its still paintable but its area is much more subtle and fitting.
