at night it looks fine, but in some daytime maps it looks see through. not an issue of brightness or color but opacity.

This mod really makes fire more serious and beautiful like the first game. You did an awesome job

This is amazing but i wish there was a version where it's exactly like L4D1, more yellow, just..straight up the L4D1 fire without any modifications. I say this because the other port of the L4D1 fire on the workshop is broken, the molotov fire is fine but the fire on Infected or the environment (For example the Dead Air Airplane crash fire wall) are broken.

So while this is clearly the better choice i wish there was just a definitive port of the L4D1 fire.

Only issue I have is that the fire you see in campaigns like Dead Center is still the L4D2 fire, which looks weird when it sets zombies on fire with the fire from this mod.

nice!! the version i made years ago simply replaced the l4d2 file with the l4d1 file with zero editing what-so-ever (cause i dont know how to do particle stuff lol), so its nice to see someone actually doing this

Holy fuck you're a saint for this Vanyarin as if you weren't already with your mods. From day one back on the 360 with L4D2 I hated how the fire particles looked compared to the og, this is probably the best mod out there that seems to replicate it very well.

All I ask atm is what mod you use for the Molotov model in L4D2, I swear I seen it before as some un-labeled Molotov but the name of the said mod slips my mind.
