it would be great if I could make this mod work as an option in replay, like it restarts every time I press R and try to play back what i'm doing, instead of just being overlay music for the whole game. I think it would be tuff for especially singleplayer when you want a certain song.

i'm...not sure what I did wrong.
i used ogg files, i enabled and disabled music in options...
it just doesn't seem to work.

Songs have to be .ogg files and in a folder called 'CustomMusic' under >Steam>steamapps>common>YourOnlyMoveIsHUSTLE for them to even appear, but even after that they wont play. last update was august 2024 so im assuming mod is just outdated and doesn't work anymore

it lets me select a song but it doesn't play with or without music enabled

I don't see my songs in there, I put my songs into the main YOMI Hustle folder and then when I check the mod settings the music isn't there. For reference, I went to steamapps>commons>YourOnlyMoveIsHustle then put the music into a folder in there, and I have tried without the folder, still nothing. not showing up in game. help?

guys just use ogg files it worked for me, just convert your music with any web converter to ogg file format

No clue, but I do think that the newest music mod, which is the one that changes the intensity of a music mid-match might have a chance to break it.

To help everyone out about when it crashes go into settings and delete character cache and go back into the game it worked for me if that doesn’t work then double check your mods and see which ones are causing the game crashing

I only got it to work after swapping out the mp3 files for ogg files.

For anyone wondering, after testing for a bit I'm pretty sure the music will only play when you're actually INGAME, like when a singleplayer or multiplayer match has already started. Otherwise it'll just keep on looping the default music. After you're done fighting the custom music stays even in the menu.

Even after scrolling through the comments to find people's solutions, I just can't seem to get it to work. I do notice how the default theme restarts after flicking off the music option, but even with another song selected, it refuses to work properly.

Go to YOMIH > properties > manage local files > brows local files > and from there I made the "CustomMusic" folder. Now it's not playing the music I put in the folder but it is playing the default music instead even with the music option disabled. If someone could tell me how to fix this that would be nice.
