warning:
some of the origins are a result of me being inept
namely ghoul being just, unfun to play for a long period of time

but i’ll probably never revisit this because i can’t be bothered to go back and change things

but this mod was definitely a “lesson learned” for what i made post this mod

i know i have only played as two of the many origins but i have to say the engineer and SQ trooper are both really fun and let you play in a more different way

being able to hop over the heads of grunts seems like something that doesn't mean much at the start but for a more gun type of origin it lets you do so much for freedom letting you hop over someone to then shoot or stab them to get out of a fight or to just fuck around, it is great for what is by most means a normal origin without to much to them

then the engineer:mpn_engi:, is cool as not being able to put weapons on your back makes it so much harder, do i pick this up or stick with what i got do i have the ammo i need or no its great

it’s unintended but it kinda works so im keeping it

it’s because “NoDisarm” (try and guess what that does lmao) also removes weapon durability from decreasing for some reason

but ig this nerd engineered his wooden plank to be as durable as the madness combat equivalent to diamonds

purely cosmetic

but it might be good to know that he has “NoStow”
meaning you can only use 2 weapons, instead of 4 (it prevents you from switching to weapons on your back)

so you’re gonna have to get creative

For some reason none of the new origins are showing up for, i am playing on a gaming laptop i don't know if that is the problem or not but some help would be very appreciated.

I having trouble with Gestalt in the Contract 2: The Goods missions. I got stuck and couldn't get off the stairs of the pedestrian bridge, causing me to not be able to progress the mission. Sometimes it also happens through the two entrances to Quartmaster or the Main Hub on the helipad above.

I don't know why, but it's probably due to Gestalt size. Is there any way to solve this, or maybe you can fix it?

Ghoul feels like anti-fun. Sure, it's damage output, on paper, is absurd, but it doesn't matter when 1) it needs a finishing punch on basically every enemy; 2) it's locked into the exact same attack animation with a large (for normal attacks) wind-up; 3) nearly every enemy can interrupt it's attack, despite it being big and heavely armored; 4) due to it's size, counter's are pretty much non-existant since most enemies are too small to trigger a counter; and 5) it's dizzy takedowns (which unarmed-focus really relies on) do not break corpus or kill. It's pretty much a walking bullet-sponge for hirelings to use and counter mini-boss/boss type enemies (the only things it's good at)
