I'd like to do another round of edits at some point, just not sure when. Sebek has also mentioned wanting to redraw some of the cgs. Perhaps in the future we can do a R&R: Redux. If Puppet Pals can do it, so can we. Just know that if we do decide to do that it's not going to take steam out of Who Drank The Purple Stuff. Sometimes it's good to take a break from one thing just as a palette cleanser.
OH GOD I'm an idiot. Totally missed that. Thank you so much!
It's standalone, you don't need to play the main storyline at all. Subscribe to the mod and access it via Extras->Mods
This is just a small criticism on my end though, because your writing is very good and I enjoyed this mod very much.
My biggest criticism is that you 'tell' right after you 'show'. Usually it is just immediate feedback from the decisions the player can make, though. You set up multiple scenes where Inco is faced with the changes he needs to make in order to grow as a person in his relationship, and it seems that all of them are resolved with a heartfelt, in-depth, and plain conversation about each person's motives and feelings.
Thank you
1. Don't engage Ben 2. Let Olivia sell her painting 3. Confront Liz 4. Don't comfort Olivia
As of now the only problems are technical mainly character sprites being broken but that's something you can fix. So far I'm only 1 ending in so I'll make a more in-depth review on the discussions tab once I 100%ed it
As for future projects, I'm already brainstorming one, but it's going to be a big undertaking that will take months.
Really good stuff man. I look forward to other projects you've got in the future if you continue.
Honestly very solid. The art is endearing, the characterization feels about right, and I especially enjoyed how you gave Liz her own moment in the mod.
It all gives Ending 3 more depth, and I like this approach to continuing Ending 3's "open-ending".
I only really have two critiques.
One, Stella and Rosa feel a bit forced. There's nothing wrong with having them of course, I do enjoy them and they're written well, I just feel they could've been introduced more naturally somehow. Riley fits well enough though.
The other one is minor but I feel replacing "Give Olivia advice" with "Whisper Olivia advice" would've more accurately described the choice, as just saying "Give Olivia advice" implies (at least to me) the same speaking aloud that urging her on would, which has negative consequences later on. Just a small word-change to give more clarity to what you're actually doing at that moment.
