Nevermind about my problem... I completly forgot with the past years that AI can sally out on the battlefield and even more often with DEI mod

Same as @alexvincente89. Now the battles are set outside of the settlement and AI use deployables outside. I'm using DEI with some graphical mods and the Better Sieges + Palisades & Deployable Mods. Any fix for this or any known mods that can have issue with it ?

Can pls someone help me, i am playing Late Rome Empire. When i assault towns i get a normal field battle someone know a fix?

rome total war 2 has a limit on the number of mods, when you install more the game fails, such as soldiers without arms, gray faces, etc., it is not the fault of this mod but of having too many mods

By the way congratulations for the mod, it gives a lot of playability

I said around 35. In any case you can merge mods that don't involve the same areas with rpfm.

F*** nvm it's true. I installed music mods and go over the limit without activating this mod and there are graphical glitches happening like (soldiers no arms, no armor, no face). Fckng CA Mod Manager.
Knowstalia 23. aug. 2024 kl. 20:32
hmm. this is weird, i recounted the total mods activated in R2TW MM, and it's only 33 plus this one is 34. so prolly not 35? but 30? if it's 30 then why can i still play without problems before using this mod?
AveMetal  [ophavsmand] 23. aug. 2024 kl. 10:01
No, it is an old issue, before the limit was much higher but is a problem directly related to the Mod Manager or the game so no mod can solve it. However, you can merge mods with programs like rpfm and reduce their number in the Mod Manager so you can use more this way and skip this limitation.

Is there a mod that fixes the 35 limit?
AveMetal  [ophavsmand] 23. aug. 2024 kl. 5:02
This mod has nothing to do with those mods you mention, so it can't conflict and cause those kind of errors. But there is a limit of mods activated in the Mod Manager around 35, which if you exceed it, causes that kind of texture bugs.

not compatible with other mods. agent portrait has invisible faces.
BRAN MAC BORN 22. aug. 2024 kl. 0:00

Now in field battles the Ai will set up deployables......put not here outside the city.....If you can figure out how the game sets up the Ai deployables that would be most excellent and see if you can get the ai to set up troops of trap outside the city.

Now if we can be able to use the city garrisons to attack roaming armies while your main army is away that would be awesome. I always wanted that feature in Thrones of Britannia since there are no Garrisons in small towns, have the main city garrison act as the main army of that province when the main field army is away as long as a Governor is available that is.

Amazing feature; I always hated how coastal defenses were restricted to a small spot and unable to flank land attackers.

Although it weakens the point of sallying out since you can place cavalry outside, that's just up to you if you want to cheat in that way!
