Griffars seem to be underpowered. A single tortoise can beat it quite easily with a tamed griffar.

i love the little folklore snippets in the descriptions! my tribe goes out of our way to hunt tetras or tame emperor vultures because of the myths about them you added!

great mod, i use it in medieval/regulat playthroughs. where did the griffar pack come from? and animal gear support for armor would be awesome. also, bringing the sarcho turtle into this mod in the same style would be awesome. keep up the hard work! this is hands down my favourite creature mod.

Hello! I love this mod and have been using it for a while and recently got back into medieval rimworld which requires seting my game to 1.4 and realized this mod is not compatible. This is the perfect mod to add some spice to a medieval run. Would you consider making it compatible? Thanks.

This is a great mod! The griffar adds an owlbear vibe to the game I never knew it needed! I would appreciate an update allowing the refinement of thrumbo horns into ivory as, at least for me, I have used this mod for a while and thrumbos seem to be more common than belloceros. Do they not spawn in the boreal forest?

@crumb, maybe someone here would know a common mod that causes it? I have over 300 mods, and no idea what would cause this. I assume that the beasts are normally immune to these ailments?

extremely minor nitpick, logically making ivory from horns/tusks should be a crafting task, not a smithing task because the quality nor quantity is effected by skill. like how making chemfuel is a crafting task

@Halfman I don't mean to sound rude, but if you think it's another mod that's causing the issue, why post here? Just do some simple testing by disabling all of your other mods to see if the issue persists. If it does, THEN post here. Otherwise your report is pointless. No offence.

It is probably due to a mod of mine, but all old dragons that spawn for me is full of cataracts, dementia and so on.

started a new commitment mode colony with this. day two a griffar decided that one of my colonists would be a great meal. my most important colonist was killed in the resulting battle and my doctor and one other colonist were both severely wounded. 10/10 would get jumped by a mythological being again

As a further improvement, I would recommend adding the tag <allowOldAgeInjuries>false</allowOldAgeInjuries> to PawnKindDef Grimstone_Grimshadow.
I think it would be inconsistent with the image of an apex predator to have Grimshadow appear at an older age and in a weakened state with numerous chronic illnesses.
