the personal phobia i have in relation to this game is verzephobia but no one can really do anything about that
trypophobia brings on feelings of disgust or fear when you see patterns with lots of holes. sunflowers, honeycombs, sponges and seedy fruits can cause this response. trypophobia is a type of anxiety disorder. most people don’t have a true fear of holes.
Since Spearmaster's tail has holes in the sleep screen it triggered my own trypophobia pretty bad and i got sick of replacing the sleep screen manually every time i had to validate my files so i made it a mod instead, and i figured I'd upload it for anyone else with the phobia.
I know it probably doesn't make sense to most people without a phobia, but phobias don't like making sense sadly. they just like suffering!
The answer is simple. Comfort and convenience. Something that people without phobias have just fine. Just because someone can close their eyes or look away doesn't mean they should have to deal with it every time. I am making life easier both for myself and others with trypophobia.
It may not be helpful for people without it, but you can do the same thing people without arachnophobia do for spider-removing mods: Just scroll onwards. I do not see why you feel a need to suggest this for people who just want to play a game they enjoy comfortably.
