Any advice or existing mod that increases concession points required in ongoing ironman game? For whatever reasons my intermezzo getting resolved within 20 years from start and my current save is 499/500. Would be a shame to restart and other than that campaign was going great.

There is a command: effect title:title_you_want_to_change_de_jure_capital = { set_capital_county = title:new_de_jure_capital } e.g. effect title:title_k_england = { set_capital_county = title:c_middlesex } however, historically Damascus was only the capital of the Sunni Caliphate under the Ummayads while Baghdad remained the capital from 762 almost continuously until 1258, so please keep Baghdad as the de jure capital.

@Mid while I have been able to recreate exactly that combination of effects I have found an issue that caused wrong events to fire and it should now be fixed.

When I take the lead the Turks decision I get the Arabian empire and the struggle ends? Definitely a bug cus its doesn't always happen but it happens alot.

@Barry for the most part the mod just makes some tweaks to the vanilla struggle, while I did not test it with the more bookmarks mod, it should work if the struggle works there too

You can either use dynamic titles for this ( which I'd probably do for a title that only lasts for the duration of the struggle ) or set it up as a history title without de jure attached like eg e_mongol_empire

If you want Damascus to be the capital for most of the game it's probably better to create the new title with the struggle start, then shift everything back to the original title when the struggle completes.

You can't directly move De Jure Capitals in script, you have to create a new title of equal level with the appropriate De Jure Capital , and then transfer over the name / title history / any de jure kingdoms / etc, you can copy most of that from the Roman Empire.

i like how the dominate the caliphate ending basically results in a muslim shogunate
