I don't know how do you make your DDS files, but don't you think 1MB for each recolor is too big? I took a look at your file and we both use 1024×1024 UV map, but my file size is only 682 KB. Perhaps try to use another app for making DXT files to make the file less bloated?

@Phoenix Well, yeah... 3 versions (OG + 2 facelifts) each having a sedan, a coupe and a station wagon makes a lot of model in one mod. Imo the variety is worth it
