It should work with any future version as long as there was no breaking changes in the original ryno mod.

I don't know if you're still using the method from last I checked, but have you considering doing this instead of cutting every part of the body? If I recall it would create a lot of errors in the log.

Cool mod. I just found More Vanilla Creatures, and was getting ready to try it... but was a little on the fence, as a few of the newer creatures seemed a little random/silly, and admittedly I prefer a bit of nerdy immersion. But I told myself "oh well, lets try it anyway, looks fun". But then someone (the mod author themselves) linked to this mod, and.. problem solved! Thanks.

No - according my knowledge, what more I see that @ryno even recently added Civilization Patch For More Vanilla Creatures that depends on original the same base
But the best way is to ask in the source

i routinely receive feedback that people do not like the giant spore balls which infect the dwarves, perhaps you could add them to your list of creatures to remove. i'll probably make them spawn more rarely in the base mod

I did, and the ent actually did attack other hostile creatures (a dragon and a ghoul for example), but not innocents.

Hey Niemst, I noticed that tree Ents attack the player, but not other AI in a town or city. Do you know why that could be?

@Donaldthemagpie I don't know, the main propose of this mod is to align the original mod with my taste, but when I'm already doing that I can also share it if anybody had similar need as I do.

I applied removing of many other tags about the creature and tested on adventure mode (thx again WalrusMan)
Despite logs like:

doesn't seem to be working for me, or well, after I've created a world and tried starting adventure mode I have those races available as options in different regions of the map, suggesting they have populations there. I might be misunderstanding how the simulation works in that regard though, as I know you said they aren't completely removed. Really like the mod but the object-people are too silly for me so I hope I can get this to work
