There would probably be a way to find the inside area the player is in and turn every face into a box shaped brush with one face in the place of the quake 1 map face and the other just extruded out an arbitrary amount
I started work on a Quake 1 version but ran into an interesting little problem.
Unlike newer formats, the Quake 1 BSP format does not contain brushes, only faces.
In order to get the collision working properly, I need to somehow un-split the faces back into solid geo.
So the project is on hold until I think of a solution for it.
Also do any of you guys know how to remove the blue color to the screen when using Quad Damage?
Yeah, but with GmDoom at least, you can use Doom's assets in Garry's Mod in this way. spawn 'em on GMod maps, with all the GMod content. That's is a really good point about it.
Haven't tried this one, but I think it's like that.
So even if that baseq2 doesnt work, you can download the actual shareware to get it.
The real question is whether or not this mod will work with the shareware version (at least for the content that is in the shareware version)
that is impressive as hell
