sorry for bothering you again but i have more info regarding the stunt versions of these songs
cosmopolitan would start approx 11 seconds in
and breathing would start approx 42 seconds in
and of course when the stunt is over and the game happens to pick these song when that happens, it starts from the beginning.

i don't know if you know this, so i will say it. Cosmopolitan has a stunt stadium variant and appears in race mode as well. Rabbits are roadkill appears in menus and racing.
you probably already know this but here it is anyway.

those two songs were in the beta version of this game yet never made it to the PC and Playstation versions of this game

I don't think steam offers a way to edit workshop mods for copyright reasons? But what song don't you like?

Next update I’ll definitely consider it :p I try to only add music that fits the vibe of the game.

Your mod is exactly what i want. new songs but not replacing the original soundtrack. other music mods work on steam deck for me. I'll try manual installing, thank you again!

Ohhh, that actually could be it. I don't own a Steamdeck, nor do I use Linux, so I have no way to verify. But I've had zero issues on Windows 10. I had my friend redownload and test it, he said it still works. I'm stumped, it sucks you can't use my mod, I really wanted people to try it out. The only thing I could suggest, if it's even possible is to download the mod and manually install it. You can refer to the pastebin link for that. Let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

I've tried resubscribing with with no other mods and reinstalled my game. still doesn't show up in my mods manager. I am on steam deck, maybe it has something to do with that? thank you for the reply.

Did you subscribe to my mod with the mod manager open? Try restarting it. And if that doesn't work, unsubscribe and resubscribe. That's kind of weird though, because it's worked just fine for me and my friend. If you need anymore help, let me know.
