The panic attack when happen, give you a instant max panic, and make your char do an animation where they is "shocked" and hold their breath, which i suppose is counted as "moving?
if you pick panic attack and it happen to trigger when you still loading or havent moved
you will immediately lose the protection and get chomped down even if you didn't even pressing a button
Rejoin Safely's page suggests it may have bugs; if so, this mod doesn't, so that might be one way in which this mod would be a better choice. But I do not know exactly how it works, and I do not know your personal goals.
One thing this mod has that other mods like it probably don't is the ability to make zombies just keep falling down on AFK players for a laugh (instead of standing there or walking around them), optionally available in the sandbox options.
Also, most mods like this don't have an AFK mode. This mod does. (Must enable via sandbox.)
As for the frame lag (e.g. when opening the crafting menu), I have an idea for tracking that, and if it pans out, I'll add an optional setting for protecting players who are lagging too bad to protect themselves, e.g. when opening the crafting menu on a game that has no mod to make that menu open faster.
I'll tell you one thing though, I definitely have died because I accidentally fat fingered the crafting menu and that thing lags any time it is opened if you use mods. If I do that, I just start spamming spacebar and pray that I shove the zombie away while the game is lagging.
i can now move without worrying about being bitten in the neck 5 minutes in only armed with a spoon and taking a deadly dose of bleach and pie
Thank you. This reminds me of Path of Exile when jumping to a zone or map, your character gets an invulnerability buff due to loading assets, etc.
@Maxene They'll still eat you. Don't confuse them for friends. I started to do that, myself. You hang out together vaping for a few minutes and you start to think maybe a bond is forming. No. They'll eat you when you start moving. Don't doubt them.
