@imperatorchristiani there are some more mechanics that make things slower/harder but it shouldn't be happening early game.

@skoda.ondr marian reforms are triggered as normal: huge city in italy. I don't believe this was changed but i don't currently jave access to the files so can't check.

I'm already losing settlements with good public order to rebels early in the game. Does it happen regularly that cities in my core lands revolt? I'm playing as a Roman. Is this also the case for other factions?

Very good mod, I like the vanilla style with many new units and single Rome faction. Can you just point me out how to trigger Marian reforms?

@尺 の 刀 ノ 刀 I am currently working on a much larger mod so don't really have time. Depending on how large and what type of mod you are looking for there are some far better modders in the forums that may wish to undertake the work.

@Grayson729 You will need to switch your display setting from realistic to vibrant or vice-versa( i forget). They should show up fine once you switch. Enjoy.

Hi Sulla, I wanted to play your Mod, but the new Units have no unique Unit card and that is a no go for me. Is that normal and you fix this in the future or is that an issue on my side?

@尺 の 刀 ノ 刀 If you're asking permission to use assets then yes it's fine. I only used assets from the base game anyway so don't claim ownership. I will not be merging or expanding the mod for the foreseeable. I am not a fan of large rosters in place of balance and more unique faction experience which is largely what drove the mod. hello, i have a question, is it possible to merge your mod to another ? i think some of your units and factions are so cool to play but i also want big roaster denimoks for example, is it possible ? i want some of your units and factions + units of other mods too

@pabloes333 Sorry to hear that. Sounds like it's looking for the new culture. I will check the base files and provide an update if required. If you are running other mods it may be conflicting but it should be a stand alone mod.

It doesn't work, when i start the game it does not let me in because the game can't find a saharan script in steam or somthing like that, is this mod suposed to work with another one ?

@baxmoke Ok well if anything it's probably harder. It would seem like the spanish merc unit but that hasn't been modded.... Of the two armies on both sides only the Gallic mercs are new. I will look for anything odd.

@baxmoke Thanks for still playing! I will look into this. It may be to do with unit variation. I have patched a few with the same issue so will look to specifically alter for the units present.

Hello again @Sulla so i returned to this mod and found another CTD. This time a siege battle with the Carthaginians.

My armies are currently sailing to Carthage and i will continue to see see if i get further CTD's. Any ideas?

@Miraner Finally the latest update was made alongside another mod that added the Sarmatians as a faction so ensuring they were distinguishable was also important so I erred on the side of caution and went with orange.

@Miraner Thanks for the feedback. Glad you are enjoying the mod it's exactly what I was shooting for. The colour scheme for Scythia varies between orange, black and a more yellowish colour. The variation feature also seems to throw out the tone from the texture I created. TBH I dislike Libya's colour scheme but it's hard to ensure unique colours that also don't clash with neighbours.

The mod seems fun so far, it's great having mods that add more to the game (factions, units, regions etc.) that also try to keep to the game's original feel! I do have on complaint though, which is that the colour scheme for the Scythians is this garish neon orange that seems totally out of place. Libya, the other orange faction looks fine though, so I wonder why not use the remaster's yellow-orange colour scheme, since that fits in a bit better.

@The Cuck I consider it to be mostly complete. I would like to tweak the civil war mechanic and possibly a few additions here and there. I haven't had a lot of feedback though so I don't want to spoil it as it's doing quite well. Thanks for playing!

@Darth ZarZax I think there are around another 25 settlements. I deliberately kept the original map and tried to just 'tweak' it. I have not made the mod with merchants in mind so while I don't think it would 'break' the game, there are no new textures etc, so play if you wish but I make no promises for using merchants.

What is the total number of settlements in this mod? I don't like hundreds of settlements added in other mods, i'm thinking of replaying RTW after many years but the more i'm getting older the more i think less is more.
Also is this the original campaign map?

I have hopefully found a fix for the issues surrounding the barb medium spear unit. If there are further issues please put in in the messages. The fix *should* be save compatible.

First up love the mod!

i get the same crash as Wart1n1.

for further context i just got a siege battle against the britons that crashes every time. They only have their warlord, 1 unit of spear warriors and 1 unit of swordsmen. That gotta narrow it down :)

I re-downloaded the mod today just to be sure.

So I think I've encountered a similar bug to @Crab - game crash after loading battle against Britons. Happened with field battle twice and I think one siege. The last one is against an infantry army (spear warriors, woad warriors, warbands, swordsmen, chosen swordsmen and slingers), no general, playing as Carthage. No crash if I run a similar army as a custom battle.
Not game breaking but hope it might help.

@Crab I have been testing myself but can still not replicate this crash so unfortunately I don't have and answer(yet?). There are no changes to ancillaries in the mod at all only traits pertaining to religion/culture none of which should affect battle. I will try a few more tests based on your army. Thanks again for the flags and information. Hopefully this won't ruin the game fore you.

@Wart1n1 Thanks for the feedback, I will look to add this to any updates going forward. Really glad you are enjoying the mod. The culture mechanic was a late addition but I didn't get much negative feedback on it so left it in. It just means 'preparing the ground' before invading sometime which made sense and also allows for rebellions to the old faction which was historically the case so felt right.

Either my general is glitched, somehow, or the issue I'm having is something local and not due to the mod.
I can easily autoresolve the battle and move on, so I'll see if any future battles cause crashes later on.
