These fuckin chariots are awful, literally V tier chariot unit (heavy chariot) losing vs II tier archers with 16attack/17def? WHAT?

@Hexagoros I think it was also just that cavalry is a different sort of thing than chariots. We mostly think of cavalry as being used in battle, but most of what your cavalry was doing was reconnaissance, riding ahead of your army to scout, and fighting the enemy's light cavalry who are trying to do the same. Cavalry were very suitable for this, chariots were completely unsuitable. Cavalry remained essential for recon until they were made obsolete by the airplane.

Good lourde I checked the workshop specifically for this cause charriots used to make sense and now I don't understand how you can lose 5 charriots against 2 units of militia slingers. It's ridiculous so thank you so much for doing this!

@Kharn Cavalry didn't make chariots obsolete. Infantry and skirmisher advancements did. Cavalry were a response to those advancements.

So does this make chariots better than cavalry? Because cavalry should make chariots obsolete. Can you make a mod that buffs both?
