Like another user, my gastromech gives food poisoning way too much. Makes it feel pointless

@turol All jobs award skill experience and mechanoids they have a constant value for the skill and if you try to award them experience it will throw a null reference error. The only way to fix that is to make a code patch that will add a check for if the pawn doing the job is a mech and if so do not award experience. This is why in vanilla mechanoids can only do some select jobs. If you want custom jobs to work with mechanoids without throwing those null errors you have to manually add that code patch for EACH job that you're patching. So of course if I haven't added compatibility to a specific job its going to throw errors

The rancher tries to tend apiaries from "Vanilla Factions Expanded Medieval 2" but fails. There's a NullReferenceException in the log for each attempt. "JobDriver threw exception in toil MakeNewToil's initAction for Pawn_MechRancher477933".

This is unfortunate because that's the job for which I built this particular rancher.

My gastromech is constantly giving my colonists food poisoning. It might be a bug because Fabricors also have 10 skill and dont seem to poison food near as much, if at all. Could you consider buffing Gastromechs to do the same? Or maybe buff their skill to 13 or 15?

The mod is awesome!
but all mech (vanilla& mod) still lack jobs: loging,capture,hunt, kill(allow tool mod)
and if buff the rancher able haul the slaughtered cow to the fridge....

Hello, will there ever be a mechanoid added that can recruit or enslave prisoners? I can't find such a mechanoid anywhere in the workshop. Or is it impossible to do this because of the code? :confusedkarlach:

I love this mod. Mechs are the best! However I was wondering if anyone else is having the issue of wardrons trying to interrogate prisoners (anomaly thing) but failing due to no speak, and then repeating this getting stuck in a loop

@Nameless You can set shutdown zones in WVS for your wardron. Although I have too encountered the second issue for some reason.

Discovered a strange interaction here where my prisoners weren't eating when this mod was active. I also noticed the warden bot wasn't actually doing its job despite all other criteria being filled. Deactivating the mod allowed the prisoners to behave as normal and feed themselves.

@Nameless If you happen to come by and check, you can fix issue 1 by using the mech shutdown zone in WVC - Work Modes. Assign the Warden to his own group by himself (this step is optional, only if you want the warden by himself near the prison), make a shutdown zone and assign it to the group you put the warden in. That's how I solved it but I believe you can accomplish the same thing in a different fashion with that author's other mod Mech Spots, I just got bored of that playthrough before I tried that.

Dear authors, thank you for your work maintaining and developing this mod! I wanted to report some potentially unintended Wardron behaviors. 1. When working with "WVC - Work Modes" work and recharge policy it usually recharges right at the prison door keeping it open and largely increasing chance of escapes. 2. When delivering meals to the prisoners it sometimes runs between a couple of populated prison cells dropping and grabbing back the same meal/food. So it leaves a meal in one cell, then immediately pick it up, goes to another cell, drops it, picks it up and goes back to the first cell to repeat. Can you please kindly have a look at these issues?

Hello, Is that the wardron cannot suppress the anomaly entity level? I found it does not suppress the fleshmass nucleus but in the warden job description it said it can suppress entity level. Is it a bug?

Mechanoids have a global skill level, most have 10, including gastromech

Anyone know what cooking level the Gastromech cooks at? I know fabricors can cook with a level of like 10, theres a mech in Alpha Mechs that cooks at a slightly higher level, but I can't find anything on this one

My Rancher just keeps standing next to animals instead of...doing anything? It won't rope, won't train, won't tame, just...stands.

It will occasionally say "training x" but the moment the animal moves the Rancher will follow and start over again,

Has no one pointed out that the Mechamind is a double reference (I think). Like it's design is a reference to the one robot from Wall E that waves at Wall-E when they were leaving the captains head quarters. The other is the name, Mechamind, like Megamind? (The megamind reference might not actually be a reference and I might be looking too deep into this.)

Can Warden intimidate if you have ideology though? Would be super cool to have robotic slave enforcement. I mean it's a big scary hunk, don't need complex human social skills for something like that to force someone to work.
