The quicksave keybind doesn't use shift, it's just F7. Source doesn't directly support multi-key keybindings.

This is how to make the mod load your last save: Shift/FN + F7, This quicksaves your game so when you die, You respawn where you last quick saved.

Yeah the camera scanner mod is dead. I kept running into problems that I couldn't find workarounds for.

Has progress on the camera scanner mod stopped? Wont mind if it has, can understand source's technical limitations

Hey just an idea but how about a less intensive variant that merely cleans up everything and respawns you at the start? Either way great addon man!

@toast Could you describe what's still happening? If you uninstalled this addon correctly it shouldn't be getting loaded by Garry's Mod in any way.

@Uber Goober, or at least just have it respawn you but clean up everything instead, does the same thing but you dont have to reload mods

can you add a command to change the amount of time it takes till the voice line and save load happens? It would be amazing to make other death mods work together with this one better!

@Dat-Mudkip This isn't a cut feature. It just uses a cut voiceline.

As cool as this is, I can understand why it was removed from the original HL2 campaign. Repetitive deaths would get even more annoying very quickly!

can you make it so the white-void-door opens and gman comes out, looks at your corpse & says the line, firms up his tie and then goes back in with the door closing before it restarts? that would be so much cooler

This should be in HL2 IMO, way cooler way to reload a save / die, and feels more lore accurate than what we have somehow.

@Gods_Daemon The text isn't part of the mod. It's part of the map you're playing on.

i have an issue so i uninstalled this mod but it still shows the text and reloads the level

I'm adding it to some of my collections since its so good
