Can pit removal be made optional? I'd like to continue building them after researching mining.
Naturtok 9. okt. kl. 19:47
Any plans on adding the Adaptive MO Storage mod to this that seemingly (i think?) fixes the problems you had with the original implementation?
ferny  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. kl. 12:36
@Toastghost1543 Yeah we're gonna do a bigger balancing pass thats better documented soon
Toastghost1543 8. okt. kl. 8:38
The woven basket nerf is not reflected in the in game description. It still says 10/20/30 respectively
ferny  [ophavsmand] 30. sep. kl. 7:10
@Elanis420 It'll be weird but yeah go for it
Elanis420 29. sep. kl. 20:00
I edited the about xml file and removed the dependencies. Seems like it's working. Cheers!
Elanis420 29. sep. kl. 18:25
Hi Ferny. I played the shit out of your modpack for like a week straight, but my loadscreen going from 20 seconds to 20 minutes really annoyed me and I've been trying to slim down the mods list. Is there an easy way to edit this mod so it still works without having the dependencies? I've removed all of the prop mods. I'll have a poke around the files and see if I find anything but I figured I'd ask too. Also, off the top of your head, do you know if I'd have to get rid of much to add combat extended as well?
ferny  [ophavsmand] 26. sep. kl. 1:20
@Kelven Adaptive deep storage is fine
Kelven 25. sep. kl. 23:20
Compatibility says it's incompatible with Deep Storage. Does this mean JUST the original "LWM's Deep Storage", or does that also include "LWM's Adaptive Deep Storage", which is an independant port of the original mod but makes use of the Adaptive Storage Framework?
ferny  [ophavsmand] 22. sep. kl. 21:42
@Vampire Queen [EDI] Read the description
Vampire Queen [EDI] 22. sep. kl. 18:16
So is this not its own storage mod
ferny  [ophavsmand] 16. sep. kl. 10:55
@Surik_at All of the architect menu stuff has been moved to "Better Architect Menu" and Medieval Overhaul ASF is not supported by this mod, only base Medieval Overhaul. This mod does its own thing and adds adaptive storage to the storages directly.
Surik_at 16. sep. kl. 8:00
Is this mod working correctly for everyone? I do have a massive modpack, but with this being loaded in basically the last - architect tab categories are definitely not working the way they’re supposed to, Medieval Adaptive tab still being there, vanilla shelves in furniture, stockpiles not in storage…
ferny  [ophavsmand] 10. sep. kl. 9:55
@Rikor Yeah thats new from my latest update, i'll fix
No_Pain_No_Gain 10. sep. kl. 8:49
Error Could not resolve cross-reference to Verse.ResearchProjectDef named ReelNeolithicStorage (wanter=researchPrerequisites) only occurs when this mod is added

here is the Log:

Do you think you could add support to Medieval Overhaul: Adaptive Storage addon also?
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3425601715
ferny  [ophavsmand] 7. sep. kl. 8:49
@Drogan It would be a homoginzation, so everything gets moved to a middle ground. Reel's goes down a teeny bit, everything goes up a little bit, and so on
Drogan 7. sep. kl. 8:44
@ferny I understand where @AJarOfDirt comes from, but if you do re-balance, could it be an option you select on or off... one of the reasons I downloaded Reel's was because of the stack sizes, if I lost that, there would be no point. Thanks.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 7. sep. kl. 6:51
v34 - ensured compatibility with Better Architect
ferny  [ophavsmand] 7. sep. kl. 5:33
v33 - moved most of the basic storage category patches over to Better Architect Menu
ferny  [ophavsmand] 7. sep. kl. 0:24
@AJarOfDirt Yes soon
AJarOfDirt 6. sep. kl. 22:08
@ferny would it be possible for you to re-balance the storage sizes for these mods to feel like there is progression in unlocking new storages? When looking at the capacity Reel's is much larger than others.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 31. aug. kl. 9:15
@Dr. Wicked Hmm.. Not sure why, you should also be getting the balancing changes. I'm gonna update the mod soon, maybe that'll jossle things around.
Dr. Wicked 30. aug. kl. 16:44
Hey, I'm just checking to see if I'm missing something. I'm running this with only these three: Adaptive Primitive Storage, Reel's and Neat. I'm getting some of the changes but not all, for example open crates are renamed to containers, but woven baskets still go for 10, 20 and 30 stacks instead of the 6, 12, 18 that should be there.
Starempire42 27. aug. kl. 22:43
Not to sound like a dumbass but... is this mod compatible with yours?
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3373064575

Since it said it got a comeplete rework based on the adaptive storage framework, I presume they both work together? (Do correct me if I am wrong though)
Hawkefire 24. aug. kl. 8:14
Ahhh I see what you mean, yeah. Its a bit too restrictive in what it allows to be stored in what, and I am not sure I can fix that. A shame, I love its graphical additions.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 23. aug. kl. 14:30
@Hawkefire Storage is way too specific and bloated. Not easily understood by a brand new player, clearly a modded addition.
Hawkefire 22. aug. kl. 11:25
Question, why do you disagree with the design of medieval overhaul adaptive storage? Just curious to see if its something I might be able to make a patch for to fit your view more.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 18. aug. kl. 7:00
@Ronin That's up to whatever modlist you're using, theres lots of weird ways throughout our modpack.
Ronin 18. aug. kl. 5:25
With the Adaptive Primitive Storage mods 'Storage Pit' / underground storage removed, what is the best way for primitive/medieval colonies to preserve food now?
gazza_m_bolton 10. aug. kl. 6:42
OK fair enough thank you for letting me know.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 6:37
@gazza_m_bolton Nah I disagree with that mod's design
gazza_m_bolton 10. aug. kl. 6:14
Hi, is it possible to look into the Medieval Overhaul Adaptive Storage mod and amend the features from that mod into this one? Main reason I ask is that it duplicates several of the storage with new animated features.
ferny  [ophavsmand] 8. aug. kl. 22:02
@Hawkefire That's not a bad idea. I'll write it down.
Hawkefire 8. aug. kl. 8:45
I don't mean putting all the storage props into storage, that would be...unusable lol
Hawkefire 8. aug. kl. 8:44
Right, but what I mean is that their would be a button to open the storage section right inside the storage section.

So it would be:
Storage -> [normal storage items] + [button to open the storage section of props]
furniture -> [normal furniture items] + [button to open the general prop menu]
ferny  [ophavsmand] 7. aug. kl. 15:49
@Hawkefire Definitely not. They are only in there for the express purpose of not being in the main storage menu. The philosophy is that if it is a static/hyperspecfiic storage, like one you'd use purely for decorative purposes, it goes in props to not flood the general application/dynamic storages, as in the real storages.
Hawkefire 7. aug. kl. 11:46
would it be possible to take the "build props" category for storage, and place it into the storage tab?

IE, the build props button remains in the furniture tab, however, the specific storage subsection button would be present in the storage tab letting you open it up with a single press instead of having to go into the furniture tab to find it?
electrix1337 4. aug. kl. 11:52
Hello,
i was wondering if you could add the graveship storage since it work with odyssey. Thx for your work!
Massive Talent 4. aug. kl. 9:07
i cannot get my storage to show up
Flynt 1. aug. kl. 12:28
Quick bit of thanks for directing me to the Mod Market. Ended up getting a mod done and published to the work shop that makes Urns single stack storage, and then a few other useful things for grabbing ancient junk on raids when you're doing tier 0 storage and lighting and stuff.

Not sure what, if anything, would need to be done to get this incorporated into either your Progression list or if it would need any kind of patching to make it play nice with Progression: Storage

https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3536856332

In either case: Thanks again for the road sign, as well all the hard work you put into these mods for us!
ferny  [ophavsmand] 1. aug. kl. 10:32
@Billie Cardboard It's just the workshop page images thats it
Billie 1. aug. kl. 9:42
Is there a list available of which storage mods are updated by this?
ChickenMadness 28. juli kl. 5:19
Reel's mod was ALMOST perfect for me, but then I found out the fridges use a stupid amount of power. Especially the medicine cabinet which takes more power than the food fridge, since medicine doesn't even need to be frozen in vanilla rimworld. Neat's fridge power consumption is more balanced to me with more options.

And then I also found out none of the crates in Reel's mod can't hold food, which is what I originally used the crates in Neat's mod for. I had a room in my spaceship full of crates that i stockpiled rice in.
But I can't use both mods together because my rimworld crashes on startup if I try to do that.
ChickenMadness 28. juli kl. 5:16
It would be cool if you could make the mod so it has options to choose your own values for things stats, like stack sizes, power consumption on fridges, what items storage containers can hold, optional corpse dump and things like that.

Since everyone has their own idea of what's balanced and/or some people simply want over powered stuff in their game.

All of these storage mods have specific things I like about them, but then other things that just don't work for the playthrough/scenario I'm trying to create. And then if you try to combine all of the mods together to just pick out the one thing you like from each mod it ends up crashing the game lol.
SalazarWindriver 27. juli kl. 20:02
This removed the cellars from being craft-able after being added. it kept the one I already had
Hades the King 22. juli kl. 7:48
tenks
ferny  [ophavsmand] 22. juli kl. 7:46
@Hades the King Just Deep Storage
Hades the King 22. juli kl. 7:38
By incompatible with deep storage, do you mean the lwm one that was the original or are you talking about the adaptive framework one/ both?
