Yeah, the way i made it is: i made an new hat and removed the old helmets from spawning. Sadly that way means you have to search in an area where you havent been allready

Does it work in existing runs? I added the mod but the helmet I'm wearing is still the old version, do I have to search completely new helmets?

Another great mod as always! I've always liked the Riot helm but your mod made it even better now since I can stack different masks with it to change the flavor.

i 'vetried the mod and u should change the percentage spawn cause using debug i didn't found one in all the police stations of the map and also u should make it avaible for the character creation at the start

They way I made this mod, the visor is compatibel with different helmets and masks can be worn whilst using the helmet and the visor. Doing it in another way would have added to development time and wouldn't give me the results that I was looking for

Wish it was just the helmet with visor up and down model variants, like the way the poncho works, as it looks near identical to the police motorcycle helmet without the visor equipped. Plus you wouldn't need to search for a niche item.

I don't know. The way this mod works is by replacing the vanilla helmet with a new item

Just to make things a bit more clearer, this overwrites the vanilla entry for the Riot Helmet, yeah? So this means it'll - depending on the load order - overwrite mods that also modify the Riot Helmet directly like SLEO if that's the case.

Just wondering, since I run SMUI and SLEO but don't mind overrriding some of their stuff.

Umm, how should I put this... You said this mod adds a new item and replaces the vanilla item. In that case, the new item shouldn't need translation. Whatever language the game's vanilla item name is in, this new item will still display that name.

hard question. The way I made this mod is by making a new item with the same stats as the riot helmet and just replacing every instance where the vanilla one would spawn. So it might not replace to a improved one sorry

Should work in current saves, but the visor wont spawn in allready discovered locations. So you will have to unloaded areas of the map

The mod should be compatible with a neck protection mod, but im not 100 % sure.
since I didn't change any of the scripts, no, it has no bullet protection

Honestly no, because I think it's overall better, that you can choose exactly which mod you want and that no compromises have to be made when. It's definatly would be a good idea but don't think I will make a pack. Tho a steam collection is probably the better choice
