is it possible for you to do the xbox 360 game of the year version with the common infected on the last stand map?

It would be possible to have the music by adding the rain/shooting sfx into the bik file itself. The video should have the xbox menu sounds, that way the video itself would have sound and it'd work simultaneously with menu music.

wish there was an addon like this that had all of the background effects, such as the zombies mumbling and audibly walking around, the storm in the distance, and so on.

Double check for any typos. Make sure everything is typed the same as in description. Also be sure to only add "media" and "sound" folders inside the game directory.

I swear I've done exactly what the descriptions ask but when I boot up the game the background is just the loading screen and no music, anything I might have done wrong?

never mind, i got it fixed
All I did was unsubscribe and use GCFScape while L4D2 was running.
Also check the add-ons in-game so you can fix any issues.

cant uncheck the addons, as the game instantly closes, on another note, when you are in gameinfo.txt, is it X360 background or X360_background

i recommend un-checking all your addons and trying to single out what causes the problem. If it does not work, verify the ingame files.

'materials/console/background01.vtf' is the yellow loading screen before the main menu. This addon does not affect that in any way. Are you sure it's not some another addon that might replace that yellow loading screen, which might be causing issues?

Hmm can you send me a screenshot? Does it say that message immediatly when starting L4D2? Make sure you have typed everything correctly without any errors.

I own the Game of the Year version of Xbox 360 Left 4 Dead 1 and the main menu sucks

there's no Music it's always the light house from the last Stand and the only Audio is Infected moans

why did Valve ruing their Main menu lol

UPDATE : i've found a really quick workaround :
by putting all of the data from "left4dead2_dlc3" into "X360_background", it adds access to the other missing campaigns and fixes the missing textures error

there seems to be a big amount of errors for me, i can't play anything between crash course or cold stream, i'm also finding a bit of errors/ missing textures around the maps as well, this could be due to the fact that we have to switch out the left4dead2_dlc3 to the X360_background, which might be holding those textures

maybe you're putting it in the wrong folder?

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\X360_background" is the right one. not "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2\X360_background".
