As an update, the level is completely hardlocked, as it still only displays the laser room after fully quitting and restarting the level.

I know you probably won't update this, but destroying the window in the room where you need to enter a code permanently locks the screen onto the laser room. Even resetting the checkpoint does not mitigate this.
