This lead to my entire squad being hilariously wiped out in the first few raids.
The fact that materials don't affect armor protection values is not intentional. I'll aim to fix this in the next update, along with a CE compatibility patch. Unfortunately, I can’t give a definite timeline for the update.
As for Sarcina, I’ve thought about it quite a bit, but I’m still undecided on whether to make it a handheld item or implement it as wearable clothing.
Only the helmets get affected by material usage.
