I found out this was actually being caused by another mod. Specifically the Functional Car Lift mod. Driving the wrangler away from the lift, I was able to see the mechanics menu just fine and right-click the components etc.

any chance you can buff the jeep's performance? atleast for offroad/towing or something? it feels really weird being able to offroad and tow better in a sports car than in a jeep. maybe a gas can slot too?
It just feels like the only practical advantage of the jeep is the front tow winch, other than that all its got is cosmetic customization and the ability to look good with the top off (which just makes you vulnerable to zombies), I just feel like this should have some more practical advantage because it just feels weird being placed in a similar category as the garbage cars.

I'm also having issues with the tires, it won't allow me to remove them no matter how many times i try to uninstall the tires. Plating on B41

Hey! Im having issues removing tires? it gives me the option with the jack in my inventory, but it wont allow me to remove them

The car panel is not visible with this mode

My Jeep Wrangler became a Van on load the next day...

could the result for the cut vehicle window be changed to show that it makes small vehicle glass panes? its super confusing since it just shows the rubber and made me think the only way to craft car windows was via mirrors

how do you craft the bumpers, armoured parts, and roof rack in survival?

idk how hard it is but having the ability to upgrade the car with armor plating and bullbars like you can do in the filibuster mod through the v wheel would be nice.
