Hey! I'd love to play a campaign as Gelt with this start position and wonder if this is possible somewhat "easily" with a RPFM edit? I'm not a modder but have opened and saved a .pack file before. Would it be possible to point me to the change I need to make "in short" or is that more difficult than a few database edits? Thx <3

Btw i only got the idea, because i'm pretty tired that everytime i finally get to confederate him, it's already way past the late game(even past the endgame) ,and i haven't get to play 1 of his quest battle. but if i use a cheat mods(force diplomacy), it blocked me from getting his 4 Legendary Heroes.so i figured, maybe if can just established diplomacy with him from the start, i might have the chance of getting him either by confederation, or by destroy him and get him by using the recruit defeated legendary lord mod (this mod usually also bring the legendary heroes of destroyed faction if you accept the refugees)

@albarrizal92, AI versions of them? I like that idea although those areas are already a little crowded and I enjoy fighting Marcus as a lizardman.

Since Gelt is gone, it doesn't make sense for him to be at war with them anymore.

Plus, it would help him focus on reconquering Shang Yang.

@Codex, almost certainly it's some other mod crashing on startup, causing none of the start position change scripts to run. But I updated all of my mods just in case.

Double checking, the green checkmark is there but the mod doesn't function. Strange.

Heads up, this might be out of date along with all the other start mods. Totally plan on using this if it gets updated, because I must reign SUPREME over the Empire!

Also I love the location choice, Border princes gets instantly overrun by ogres and savage orcs and they bleed to the empire very early on. Hopefully Gelt will make a better buffer and keep the flavor more intact. Also finally Yuan Bo can be booted back to Cathay like before.^^
