OH! (was it based on the earlier 1960s tamatakas with the twin small funnels or the later more modern ones with the "jet-pod" funnel?)

i mostly build 30-40 meters ferries from japan but i did try building a tamataka maru which i didnt finished and it was my own design

great to hear! (I've always been a fan of them, and their competitors Tsukuni Kisen as well, their ships were odd, very wide and short)

always thought the design of the Tachibana was neat, I'd be interested if you ever plan to do other Japanese ferries of the same era like the Shikoku Ferries (Tamatakas and Shodoshimas) or the Utaka Kokudo Ferries
