this mod causes crash whenever my character got hit by a boss for some reason

i have about 130 mods installed and after trying to deactivate mods 1 by 1, this mod turns out to be the cause of the issue im having

Long overdue, I figured out that the mod just hard conflicts with MrPlague's Authentic Races, the issue I mentioned earlier is reproducable with just these two mods.

its so nice having this mod be consistently updated! too many good mods get abandoned by devs.

this is quite possibly the greatest terraria cosmetic/audio mod because it gets me so damn locked in, and the bounce back when using a healing potion

gets me so damn immersed i love it

For some strange reason, the issue mentioned by the person below is still present, the moment one of the effects is meant to trigger, the game just dies on the spot, with no relevant log entries. I triple checked if I'm running the patched version, yet it persists... might be a mod conflict which I cannot really nail right now.

nvm I just had to delete the mod and download it again. It's all good now

The mod still breaks the game for me. Whenever I get my health low enough to trigger the low health effects the UI starts glitching, the low health effects arent even present and sometimes the mod manages to freeze the game and/or the player

The latest tML update changed a couple audio-related things which caused the mod to crash. I've just updated the mod, so there should be no issues on the latest version. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The game also glitches if you have low hp with this mod and makes you unable to do almost anything

Currently breaks most bosses into leaving after they hit you once or twice!

Heartbeat + muffle effect no longer works with the latest tModLoader update. Also health rapidly decreases below zero HP into negatives and "freezes" player, not allowing them to die. Basically softlocks. Please fix when you have the time.

There is a problem when hit by a boss the "no longer chasing you" message is displayed, i did some testing and it's something to do with the frozen debuff, only when the frozen debuff is applied the boss just stops chasing you. i tried disabling the mod and test it just to make sure it's from this mod and it turns out to be from this mod, if you use a hand warmer or something that makes you immune to the frozen debuff the boss should work just fine.

crash when playing with friend i was not host, and crash when i take damage during a boss fight

also theres no crash log from the crash for some reason

I tested it with no other mods and it still crashed. I'm using a AMD GPU and CPU if that helps.

with heartbeat pulse on, and boss only off (or on during a boss) the game will crash 100% of the time when taking damage. Turning off heartbeat pulse prevents crashing

this crashes my game when im hit by anything

I must say, It disabled all sound effects beside music when entering and being damaged in the lunar pillars. I adore the idea, but I can't use it consistently because of that. the only fix is to comepletely relaunch Tmod, or remove the mod.

There seems to be a crash specifically with Terraria Overhaul that doesn't happen on my end at all, and there's no crash logs for those that are having the issue. It's really weird. Unfortunately, without knowing the cause all I can really suggest is to disable this mod or Overhaul until I figure out what's going on.

Or something mods do that isn't compatible with this since I disabled tons of mods and enabled others yet it always crashed including overhaul mods

Spent 2 hours trying to figure out what kept making me crash when getting hit during boss, turns out it's this. I reckon there's some kind of incompatibility with some hardware since the developer doesn't appear to have the same issue from looking at other comments.

when ever i use this mod once i get hit by king slime it crashes my game with no crash log i don't know what is causing the issue

@Booie32: UltraSonic allows you to add custom sounds at low HP, but I might add something like that to this mod in the future.

@Loksi: I'm not getting a crash when getting hit by either the BoC or its Creepers. Are you using other mods alongside this one?

Whenever I got hit by BoC it would crash me when I used this mod, which kinda sucked to figure out :(

could you add a config option to change the heartbeat to the low health sfx from older pokemon games?

This and HP Awareness mod is greatest combination, you guys must use both

Whats the mod you use to change your HP UI to a bar instead of hearts?

having this mod and overhaul installed and enabled still crashes my game, even with overhaul's low health effects set to the lowest possible settings (no toggle for whatever reason). i have resource packs installed that change sounds but turning all of those off doesnt change anything either.

Just added compatibility with custom music from UltraSonic and some other general compatibility changes.
@TabTray: I'm not getting any crashes now with Terraria Overhaul. Please let me know if anyone is still running into issues with both mods enabled.

@习近平的精子库: The visual effects should work fine with other screen effect mods like palette swaps. If they don't, it's likely to be an issue on the other mod's side.
