So... after some testing, removing and adding the mod back, I conclude that my modpack is cursed and these errors just pop up randomly after I moved to 1.6

The texture files for the Hi-tech Research Kit have the wrong filenames. They have the same filenames as the textures for the Simple Research Kit.

hmm, an oversight for sure, but I don't have the budget to fix that atm.
