can confirm needs update IF and only IF you want to customize giant weapons and i think this mod will always work just not on new weapons unless it is updated for the new weapons

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but Crossbows still cost a point for damage channels.

I havent had time to do a huge test, but it does seem like a hardcoded bug.

game crashes if I try to put 5 enchants on a single weapon
