@foxmarco how to start the mod?

Hello! A update in general for the status of me as a SD2 modder:

Trying to keep my mods that i have on the work shop alive by changing the game versions.
As previously stated, this kinda means im unable to change stuff. Or i basicly need to re do the whole mod. Wich is a real pain!
I try to keep my mods updated as long as possible.

I know havent uploaded any new mods in about a year. Was working on a new SD2 mod, however after long time of working on it. I sadly had to shelve it... I might re visit it later! It was a division overhaul mod.

I decided my modding for SD2 lays with AG campaigns. And not with division overhauls. So thats why i shelved my hard work that i been doing for a year...

Currently im working on a new AG campaign mod!! WIll still take sometime. But i will promise be worth the wait!

Mine does not work, neither.

I copy and paste the mod into the mod folder and it doesn't work. i tryed everthing.

I followed every instruction and it still doesn't work. The mod wont show up the the mod list, when open the game.

Playing the campaign currently and its been really fun, love your army generals, only bug so far ive encountered is the AB Rifle squad with the extra bar gunner without a bazooka seems to use bazooka firing effects when shooting sometimes?

For the question about what DLC's are needed. If i be real honest i think you need all of them. I own all of them my self. So the issue will be when creating a mod. And saving it, the mod will have the DLC's in them as well. Since the DLC files are in the same file as the vanilla game.

Which DLC's do i need to play such fantastic work?

#nekoparatrooper. Use the link to ModDB. The workshop is a place holder since the mod is too large. Eugene doesnt allow mods more then 500MB to get uploaded on the workshop.

the mod doesn't work. i have all the DLC inculding the deluxe version and it still doesn't work. it looks like the mod is missing all of its data, because this mod is only 690b but you other mods are around 14mb.

What DLC do i need for the mod to work?

10/10 another banger from Foxi! i never knew the pawn pictures and models could be changed, its the cherry on top of unit models getting snow textures (a bit odd on summer maps but love it).

Its possible to edit the AI tactic to attack, I recall it being more aggressive prior and it won't pass a turn without a single or two attacks, though I have no idea what to do in that file.

I played through twice as the americans and cannot get the germans to attack on medium settings. Frustrating but its an issue with this game, not the mod. its really frustrating

Nice I was planning to test it but sadly was busy with work, good that what might've caused issues are solved, DLC & name difference.

It works! Turns out i didn't own all the DLC items, bought them and started the campaign. thanks, i'll give you some feedback.

Ye the name from the placeholder on the work shop is really similar named to the one on ModDB, ill change this name too to make it clearer. As for the ModDB files i still have no clue. I removed my mod from the SD2 files. Installed the mod file on ModDB and placed it on correct spot. And it worked for me. But maby thats becouse its on the same PC i dont know.

ok now i see, theres a second mod named slightly different that the Steam mod. It crashes my game and saus i'm missing a DLC even thought i had them all. Let me see what i'm missing

I unzipped it to the proper location but it still doesnt work. Do any ini or config files need to be altered?

#Stabmaster, The mod indeed shows 690.000 B. What is nothing. But thats becouse the mod on the steam work shop is just a placeholder. When you subscribe you basicly download a mod with nothing. Since my mod is 1.03GB. And Eugen only allowes 500MB to be uploaded to the steam workshop. Thats why i uploaded it on ModDB, Sadly then you need to manualy add the mod files into SD2.

Mod shows 0kb for me and therefore doesn't work.

#XDDL, updated the files on ModDB, hopefully it will work now. Tryed downloading it my self and groing through my steps and it works on my end. Hopefully will work for you and other people too! Sorry for the inconvenience im not used to ModDB, could be a faulty upload on my end :(
