Yes indeed around 20 Units of the VT 614 were modernized with more powerful Diesel engines from Cummins. Then they have 2×448kW. In general you can roughly estimate that with modernized engines each engine has around70-80kW more power.
The motor values in Wikipedia are correct but you only use 2× one engine with a certain power value not all engines combined. That is really misleading in the wikipedia. It would be really nice if you could change the values for a more realistic experience with those beautiful but massively underpowered Diesel cars. I really appreciate your great work with all of your mods! Greetings

My friend. There are some minor UV bugs that I need to fix (mirrored textures - update very soon (tm))
I took motor power values from Wikipedia, I thought that that was correct. I knew that each of tham had a couple of motor versions...

I wanted to make tham as appeling ingame as locomotive hualed trains, which tend to accelerate better than MUs in game (at least for default vehicles, which have REALLY INCORRECT VALUES that I will need to correct in an mod one day)

Great work with those fine models! But unfortunately you got completely wrong engine power values for two of them. These diesel trains were renown for their massively underpowered engines. Only the the VT 627 has roughly the correct value. In reality the VT 624 has only 2× 331 kW. The VT 614 has only 2×367 kW. Could you please fix these values? Greetings.
