LOL, but since I'm already here anyway, by 2070 our computer science advances to a point that allows quantum science to commence practical applications. A quantum vortex creates an agitation, making space more dense while also generating a low pressure zone. Gravity is nothing but the quantum equivalent of the low and high pressure zones which drive weather and flight.
Well it's as good an explanation as we are likely to get, hey? As for being able to ignore gravity, well I yeild that nut to some other cracker jack.
Only that artificial gravity generators don't act upon mass, which is why you need mass blocks to make a car for example.
Floating items don't make sense that they're pulled by artificial gravity though (expecially rocks), it's all theoretical guessing, a lot of stuff in the game don't make complete sense, hopefully in time they will be more realistic and make sense :}
Actually the game design makes total sense. It's artificial gravity so it does need to get energy to create a field. Mass blocks are kinda like electric magnets but tuned for the field of the artificial gravity generators.
But this mod is to help pretend that we have natural gravity xD it is cheaty in some conditions which is why it's not suited for the vanilla game.
I do hope devs actually add a way to have natural gravity, a spherical field that attracts everything and not have to use mass blocks, that would be splendidly awesome.
It's your problem for what you use it for :))
