Ignore the warning, there are files conflicting but everything is working as intended.

My modified version has a file which has the same name as the one in the original.
Usually, this is not good, as other files (from the original shared pack) has been coded to rely on the original file which makes everything work.
When you make a different file with the same name and file path, the game makes that new file top priority, and usually that isn't good because it most likely has different codes from the original, which would break some parts of the original shared pack, hence why Gmod alerts you about it so someone could send the issue to the mod author to fix.

Gmod thinks that my mod (which has the same name) is going to break the original shared pack because they both have a file which is located in the same path with the same name, but my version has been coded for ARC9, so it's not going to break the original mod anyway shape or form.

I have virtually no experience in coding in lua, this mod was from a version of the MW19 pack all the way back in 2023 from github. When it finally made it to the workshop, it was missing a feature from the github version which I have on my pc, so I just tweaked a tiny amount of stuff to make it work with the current version. I am not a programmer but this is what I was thinking when going though trial and error.

No I can't because have no experience on That :( like GLua also GLua is hard to learn because it request so many mathematics. But some of them think isn't hard and some of them said that is the most easiest programming languages? But I don't think so .

@小卡齐娜3095 This mod has a file named mw19_shared_optics_misc.lua which is the same name of another file which can be found in the original pack. This makes gmod think that this is going to make the original mod broken since this mod overrides the original. Nothing is broken and I'm not going to go though hundreds of files just to remove a false flag, feel free to extract and do it yourself if it really bothers you.

Why it conflict by the original MW19 Shared Pack???

@saltii This addon replaces mw19_shared_optics_misc.lua with a older version when it was on github, nothing is broken, Try restarting your game and tell me if there is still a problem

Addon '>[ARC9] Modern Warfare 2019 Shared Pack' probably conflicts with addon '[ARC9] MW19 Shared Extra' due to both having the following files:

lua/arc9/common/attachments_bulk/mw19_shared_optics_misc.lua

No I mean like the aim is exactly like the b zoom for some reason

If your talking about canted sights, the ironsights automatically disappears, this mod was ripped from github like a year ago

@Foal Srry but I can only fix issues from this addon, tried making a addon for the tool gun which would spawn a chair that would wield it to whatever the crosshair was pointing at and horribly failed at it. This code was ripped from an old GitHub file of the mw19 weapons. I can try coding in the future but rn I can only do mapping :/

@goober Try restarting and making sure that all required addons have been installed, then equip a mw19 weapon and press c, then go to optics and you should see extra

@cheese dreamer Everything was fine for me? Did you download the required addons and use them? You can customise them by holding ARC9 mw19weapon then pressing c and then pressing optics then going to extra. I would recommend restarting gmod as well

is it the optics in the settings in the gun editor? because i checked and i cant find it anywhere

@Xboxlgegnd1336 It will take a very long time trying to get other attachments on different rails since I have no idea how to use Blender. Not to mention that this addon's code is basically just a old version of the attachment pack. @Tank very late reply cause I was focusing on other stuff that I kept forgetting to ask something else since you couldn't make it where you could add laser attachments to other rails aside. I was wondering if you have enough coding and modeling skills, could you add the heartbeat sensor and make it functional as well? I could always just ask the main people who made the weapon pack but I doubt they'll see it and they'd probably block me idk. Something like that could be cool to add then just allowing you to stack sights and all.
