Can confirm, still doesn't work. I also got a notification about how the file size was incorrect when first launching. Displaying the model in shops does not work and makes the game crash.

Late answer yet again.
Steam is not notifying me of these comments, I don't know what's going on.
Anyway, thank you for the reply. Interesting observation.
I don't know if it will do anything to solve my issue; the swords work fine for me in-game, but are for some reason not being included when I upload the package to the workshop.
If anyone has any info to solve this, I would love to hear it (I'll check back periotically, since steam no longer notifies me).
Steam Workshop/mod support for this game is a joke...

@Graesholt I have similar issues with the nexus version, the problem I have been able to recreate is whenever the item does not update in the little preview box in the modding tools then it does not properly work in game and causes crashing issue, strange as it sounds the only way i can consistently make it work is by right clicking to unpack the files without left clicking on them at all, not sure how this will affect your upload here on steam but just my 2cents
