I think I now why. Check the title history of k_yemen and k_arabia. There is a huge gap coincidentally in the period of 1010 to 1066. This is true for most of the middle east up to khorasan. I tested out and it seems because everyone there is a lowborn it somehow crashes trying to open up the Tax Slots GUI. If you can take the More Bookmarks+ characters from this time period and lift them to the mod it could easily be solved I reckon.
