This enables you to pick origin traits, the psi traits should show up there, when you first promote a rookie to squaddie.
Also make sure to disable the [RPGO] Commanders Choice second wave option as it's bugged with the origins one.
on the side, as the guy from comment page before, i have problem with psi abilities - psi enabling trait seems to do exactly nothing. nowhere had i ability to pick anything psi related. from what i gathered there seem to be a menu missing that should pop up when you promote a guy from a rook to a soldier.
may be also a problem with my mod salad
Knowing your mods can save yourself a headache :)
I use [WOTC] Disable Any Class GTS Redux by RustyDios, could that be the one? because the other mods I use are EVAC ALL and mostly extra points after missions and comestic stuff like armors and voicepacks
LWOTC includes the LW2 secondary weapons so don't worry about them. The compatibility patch includes the necessary changes so that they function properly
Then it's community promotion screen
You can also use True Primary Secondaries instead of Primary secondaries.
As for the other two asking about the incompatibility. RPGO brings his own community screen so you wont have the functionality for your RPGO soldiers. This is literally listed on the community screen. All you lose is the ability tags
Thanks for all the work you did!
If the traits are chosen randomly then it's problematic but if you choose them yourself it's mostly just cosmetic.
I know no fix for this.
On the compat patch, there's 2 lists. I have the one that's listed as required, but the 2nd list appears to mostly be classes and the instructions there say we are free to skip what we don't want; I opted against a lot of them.
By chance, does this one pull from mods listed in the 2nd list for the origin traits, and if so, do you know which ones (or all)?
If not, then I'll keep trying to figure out what I'm missing on the reqs =)
This mod builds upon the others, you download them, follow their instructions, and then download this mod.
Most mods specify if something is built in. The patch is a soft requirement if it was built in it wouldn't even be mentioned in the first place. I just tell you hey this mod contains this other mod no need to get it etc.
I only answered because your second question was somewhat valid, but then again your issue is already explained in the aforementioned mods. LW2 weapons are built into LWOTC it's explained there (read the credits). True Primary secondaries is a "better" version and mostly compatible with anything, it's explained there. And yet again you shouldn't even ask this here because yet again not my mod, not my job.
You are not the first who asks about the patch's instructions, what can I tell you, I installed it the same way you or the others did.
I'm already playing with this and realized that it didn't matter since I already had all of that collection's mods installed anyway.
2. You don't need lw2 secondary weapons since they are included in LWOTC and True primary secondaries are fine
if you are using aml, unsubscribe, then delete the mod and close aml. refresh the steam page and subscribe again
This is most likely a bug in RPGO. You could ask around the xcom 2 modding discord.
Do you have two throwing knife build recipes? The normal one should be near the ripjack crafts, and the utility one is at the bottom
I am running RPGO and LWOTC, nothing else so far seems to not work that I am aware of.
