there needs to be an update to disable forced default banners and emblems, it's annoying to make custom stuff for this only for most of it to not even been selected

There is no notable average FPS drop when having this. That was ironed out before public release.

Most of the banners are typically around 188x40. But you can always increase the size proportionally to that and it should still translate well.
