When shooting the Penetrator the smoke trails of it get in the way during slow-motion, you're practically blinded by it and can't even aim at anything

This mod works like too perfectly. If you played Max Payne or FEAR you'll be right at home, it does what it says and does it very well.

I've had no issues and it's very responsive, being able to turn on and off at the press of a key without delay or any buggyness and so far the game remains the same. 10 / 10 gonna do a full run using this, thank you!

I would love if it could be implemented to work off-timer when using the weapon wheel, like DUSK slows down time during its weapon wheel so you are less fumbly using it

Wanted to suggest a sort of optional feature that allows the starting bullet time amount to be permanently extended whenever the player picks up a health upgrade syringe, similar to FEAR with the upgrades that extended the bullet time amount over the game progression.

I'll check again if you say it works it probably is, it was on a new game before picking up the rifle, the jumping slow mo worked but when I tried to do the default slow mo/bullet time it did the activation sound and screen effect for a moment but the time didn't slow down or anything.

This mod is so cool! I've been playing with it and tweaking the settings a bunch to try different styles. I have two suggestions that would make this mod even more perfect for my liking: First, it would be great to be able to change the opacity of the adrenaline bar, either to make it more subtle or to make it totally invisible if I want to have it gone for screenshots and whatnot. Second, I'd really like it if you could make a setting where you need adrenaline to shootdodge as well as regular bullet time - The way that Max Payne 1 worked, where Max would just do regular dodge rolls when he was totally out of bullet time.

For full immersion I'd suggest making the adrenaline bar "part" of the HUD as well so that it shakes around along with the health and ammo meters, but I have a feeling that that's the kind of thing that's actually much more difficult to implement than it sounds.

If anyone is worried about missing the puzzle make a save before loading the area with the puzzle, disable the mod in the menu, save, do the section as normal, complete the puzzle, save, and then you can turn the mod back on.

I had the same issue in the Plant Cloning Facility. Dev Cockatrice's response to my bug post:

"It seems that the problem was caused by the Bullet Time mod which has a habit of wreaking havoc with some of the ACS scripts in this level, including the plant stamper and elevator.

This is not the issue we initially believed it to be. I haven't determined exactly HOW this is happening yet but I am still investigating."

This mod breaks the Plant Stamper puzzle for security clearance 6 in the Plant Cloning Facility. You will not be able to obtain it with this mod active.

Just posting again as a month on it's still an issue that isn't listed anywhere on this page besides Seel's comment, which I missed the first time I tried it.

I would love to learn how you implement a mod menu into your mod (I helped put together the tactical lean mod) and also perhaps the functions in my mod could help this one to be more immersive, by diving and leaning at the same time you can get a better POV of diving if that makes sense. Seel's right. This breaks the sequence where you need to use a barrel to cause a jam to get a security clearance card.

It's a shame that this mod is broken because it makes the game so much enjoyable with it.

@mangaas I think that is a general bug in the game. I only have the Tokyo visor installed and without using it I get persistent "plasma tracers".

Also it's impossible to change weapons during a slide, which I suppose is an actual bug.

I think this is broken now, a lot of the FX and smoke stay permanent with this on, and some other errors with plasma FX and when shooting at those red shields the soldiers throw up.

I feel like I cannot live without this mod! It is well done and so fun to adjust to personal taste for good challenge. Personally I enjoy it being fairly powerful slowing enemies to 1/3 speed and leaving me at full speed, but with only 5 seconds duration and quick recharging. This off and on Adrenaline rush with a touch of unpredictability is AWESOME! (Darting for cover and having it run out mid slide and bullets raining all around is like nothing else!)

does not seem to work with the steam deck. would be nice to be able to bind the buttons to the extra back buttons. also it messes up the mod menu when installed on the steam deck.

Love it. It's also nice that you allow players to adjust the settings to their liking. I halved the adrenaline rewards and turn off auto-regen. (still looking for secrets, so there is some time without combat) It feels like a superpower that really can come in handy, but should be saved.

@SuperRodge you can change it in the mod settings menu. I don't think there is a way to reset it, you can just set bullet time activation to 'B' and shootdodge to 'V', those are the default binds

User 'Not Axel' mentioned in another post - but adding a transparency option to the hud element would be great. I also shrunk it down, and moved it next to my cross hair. Feels like its legit part of the game mechanics.

Another thing is activating can cause those Jetpack Soldiers sometimes shooting themselves up and dives straight down to their death. Great mod btw.:MHRISE_OK:

A bit of warning: DO NOT activate Bullet Time when you reach the Plant Cloning Facility - Offices as it screws up the Plant Stamping machine and prevents you from getting a Level 6 security card.

The mod menu for Bullet Time X also has some issues with gamepad scrolling, jumping to the top or bottom with no in-betweens.

was worried it would be OP but with Tactial mode mod and Admiral mode its actually still well balanced cant just charge enemy and shoot non stop since you still die fast :cta_emo8: awesome
