Looks like load order trouble. Fixed with higher position in modlist.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 30. sep. kl. 8:09
@Marvin: I gave it a quick try by launching a campaign in IEE with the custom faction myself and did not run into any issues. Your crash must be caused by another mod.
Marvin 30. sep. kl. 7:57
Crash after end first turn in IEE.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 19. sep. kl. 3:03
@DiViNe NeKO: Nurgle unit recruitment is a mess and one of the reasons why I decided not to add the Chaos Ogres to the monogod factions since I don't want to bother with all their mechanics.
DiViNe NeKO 18. sep. kl. 21:17
Can you add the plague Ogre types to the Nurgle Faction roster, Nurgle needs more troop types and these blend really well
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 18. sep. kl. 10:57
@Faith: Yes, I made them quite strong but they should also be rather seldom to encounter. And since they are mutated Ogres which are blessed by the Ruinous Powers, they are meant to be strong fighters. ;)
Faith 18. sep. kl. 10:12
No worries bud, it's because I am using Radious, so you get extra points also. I think in vanilla they probably pan out pretty well.

The lords are hellllllla strong, once they get the mount and snacks / potential nurgle or khorne regen, dam they take some killing :D haha

I appreciate the time you put into the mod, thank you.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 14. sep. kl. 10:09
@Faith: I was never a fan of skill dumps since they feel too much out of place compared to the vanilla game. And currently I think all lords and heroes feature enough skills to invest all skill points up to level 50. Back when I made the mod, creating all those different characters was a bit overwhelming and a lot of work - and at some point I felt somewhat burned out. That's why some of the skill trees came a bit short. Maybe I will rework them in the future.
Faith 14. sep. kl. 8:38
great mod, really enjoy having them along side the belakor campaign, great addition. All the hero's / faction leaders could do with a skill dump however. 1% health or separate melee and defence + etc.

The lords are only a few off, but the heros have looooads wasted skills.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 6. sep. kl. 4:04
@Decado: Thanks, I embedded the link in the mod page.
Mumm-Ra 5. sep. kl. 20:43
If anyone can make a submod so that the units in this mod are only available to the Chaos Ogres faction, I'd forever grateful. I tried to make it myself, but I came up short on certain units.

Thank you for the update! :)
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 3. sep. kl. 9:22
Updated! – Some minor changes.

Chaos Ogre Characters
- slightly changed the effects of the custom innate skills to be on par with the recent changes to some of the vanilla innate skills
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 2. sep. kl. 9:13
@Emperor01 and @Skarin Skarinsson: The mod page states clearly that the mod is updated for 6.2 - not for 6.3. I will update it once I find the time to do so.
Emperor01 2. sep. kl. 8:33
Yup sadly patch 6.3 broke this mod
Skarin Skarinsson 2. sep. kl. 7:01
NEw update cause this mod to crash btw
Shadow Wizard 29. aug. kl. 10:48
okay was just asking because i like hordes
mod looks cool tho
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. kl. 10:44
@Shadow Wizard: No?
Shadow Wizard 29. aug. kl. 10:32
is it a horde faction
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 29. aug. kl. 10:08
@ahobo77: Than you must be one of the few unlucky where this issue occured. I might try to implement a script to prevent this from happening in the future but I do not know if it will work.
ahobo77 28. aug. kl. 9:15
I did activate it at the start. The only Mod I have interacting with the WOC is SFO but I got the submod for that
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 28. aug. kl. 3:00
@ahobo77: In the past a handful of people seemed to have similar issues. Unfortunately, it was not possible to find the reason behind it. Maybe it is an unforeseen incompatibility or just bad luck. Did you start a new campaign or did you activate the mod within a playthrough? Also, do you play with a large mod list or shouldn't there be anything else influencing the WoC?
ahobo77 27. aug. kl. 20:07
Hey I'm not seeing any heros that I can recruit well playing as archaon. It just says no characters available one will be available on the next turn. Is this a bug or am I missing something?
[ Force ] 19. aug. kl. 10:52
i got the champions of chaos
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 19. aug. kl. 9:54
@Force: I told you what I could in that regard - you just have to enable the mod. The only other reason I could think of is that you do not own the Chaos Warriors DLC from TW Warhammer I.
[ Force ] 19. aug. kl. 9:40
yea still nothin
GunGuy 15. aug. kl. 22:50
@Fröb Thank you! :3
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 15. aug. kl. 0:23
@GunGuy: I might take a look at it in the future. But currently I have no motivation to do so.
GunGuy 13. aug. kl. 19:52
@Fröb Can you add it as a base mechanic? Most chaos worshipers would eat captives anyway.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 12. aug. kl. 8:00
@GunGuy: That is a base game mechanic which is not affected at all by my mod.
GunGuy 12. aug. kl. 1:21
PLEASE let them eat captives after a battle!
[ Force ] 10. aug. kl. 4:00
o okay ill see
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 10. aug. kl. 3:44
@Force: At the very least you need to subscribe to MIXER and my mod on the workshop, activate both mods when launching the game and select the Warriors of Chaos for your campaign.
[ Force ] 10. aug. kl. 0:57
i cant find the units where are they, my mods dont even work bro :sob:
Faith 31. juli kl. 10:58
Yeah, they can assimilate other Chaos factions prisoners to obtain replenishment- but not any other faction. Normal Ogre factions eat the dead for replenishment. Cheers!
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 31. juli kl. 8:42
@Faith: My mod does not touch such functions. If this replenishment function is available or not, does usually depend on the race you play as and the race of the enemy you fight.
Faith 31. juli kl. 6:40
I take it back haha there is weird, i didn't come up first few times - great mod btw
Faith 31. juli kl. 6:02
interesting they don't have a replenishment function after a fight similar to other factions? As in what is done with the prisoners.
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 22. juli kl. 7:27
@Judassem: Ogres are resistant but not immune to Chaos. Also, I rather follow the 'rule of cool' than the lore. Nevertheless, Tamurkhan and his Plague Ogres were officially added if you are looking for examples. Aside from that, their lore is rather sparse. Other named Chaos Ogres are Fernadrang or Ghuth Spawnchomper.
Judassem 21. juli kl. 23:11
This is just a question but are these lore friendly? Aren't ogres naturally very resistant to chaos corruption? Are there any examples of chaos ogres in the lore?
Love For The Craft 21. juli kl. 11:57
@Fröb Thank you so much for your time and answer! I completely agree that they might feel a bit out of place compared to the rest of the Warriors of Chaos, but I just think they’re really cool. I would’ve loved to theme my Chaos Ogres more around them instead of Marauders. Still really great mod and its gonna be in my load order for ever i feel. Time to make a ogre Campaign to get them gnoblars :P
MrEternus 21. juli kl. 8:50
Well, even if I'm the odd man out, I still love this mod. I highly recommend it!
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 21. juli kl. 8:04
@MrEternus: In the past I had them included in the Chaos Dwarf skill trees but removed them again, since I wanted them more as backup troops. I can add them again to the skill lines in a future update if more people should request it.

@Love For The Craft: Originally, I wanted to make a completely new roster for the Chaos Ogre faction with the Forsaken Gnoblars as fodder units. In the end, I decided against it and added them into the WoC roster. Since I did not want to let the Forsaken Gnoblars simply go to waste, I implemented them otherwise into the game, i.e., via landmarks for the Ogre Kingdoms. I admit that they currently really feel a bit 'forsaken' but I did not know what to do with them otherwise. In the WoC roster they felt a bit misplaced.
MrEternus 20. juli kl. 14:49
I don't suppose it would be possible to add the standard Chaos Ogres to the Hell-Forge and/or skill tree for Chorfs? I absolutely love the units, but wish I could give them buffs like I can most other units. Regardless, this mod is easily staying in most playthroughs from now on!
Love For The Craft 20. juli kl. 13:46
Hi there! First off, I just wanted to say the mod is absolutely awesome—beautiful models and amazing work all around. I had a quick question: I noticed that the Chaos Ogres don’t seem to have access to the Forsaken Gnoblars. Was that an intentional design choice, or is it due to a technical limitation? Just curious if it's something that might change in the future. Thanks again for all your hard work!
Bamf! (The Ripper) 18. juli kl. 9:18
Alright. I only noticed when I realized the fact I only had 3 undivided authority in an army with 3 chaos ogre bruisers
Fröb  [ophavsmand] 18. juli kl. 8:30
@Bamf! (The Ripper): It has been a while since I touched their skill trees. But it seems there are no DB entries for Chaos Undivided authority and I must have forgotten about it back when I added them to the mod. I will probably add this in a future update.
Bamf! (The Ripper) 18. juli kl. 8:10
Are the Chaos Ogre Bruisers supposed to not give any Chaos Undivided authority to armies? Just wanna check if that's intended
Ran 16. juli kl. 12:04
I guess one solution would be to make it compatible with one of the extra skill mods. That way hopefully it doesn't take much work? No idea how feasible that is though. In any case I still enjoy the mod a ton!
