Quick Recipe: 1) Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\UBOAT\UBOAT_Data\Data Sheets\General.xlsx, 2) Go to the row labeled 'Enable Developer Console', change the formatting on the cell under 'Value' column to 'Text', 3) NOW enter the value exactly as True - Notice CAPITAL 'T", lowercase 'rue'. In game, press the hotkey ` (typically under ESC key), console will open at bottom of screen. I have UBoat version 2025.1 Patch 4.

This mod just enables the console. Achievments will still be disabled after using the console.
Works on latest patch. You just need to look your keybind for the console ingame up and press it ;)

I can not get this to work. Do you need to type in cheat- first?

@JackTheKlicker Thanks for the reply. There is another question though. When I try to enable console command by pressing ` it says the achievements will be disabled. Any work around for that?

When I type the "Bomb" command while my target is locked, what payload bomb drops? 40lb or 250lb ? because then I can edit the damages :P :P

You can enable it even it is outdated.

on my keybord (azerty) it's the (ù) button for open console in game.

Subscribed a few minutes ago and it's working for me! Very glad it is, too - I really need torpedo-attack training and I'm hoping to be able to spawn a few transports to have a crack at. I so want to use the attack-disc mod etc.

this is not working. Console was fine before big August update.
changed excell to set to true console, instal and active mod and console does not appear at all
also changed launcher parameter on steam adding ~console but same result.

There you can enable the mod.

By default there are disable.

I unsubbed from a couple other obsolete mods I had in there. Gonna restart and see if that was the issue

Im unable to access that file on stupid windows 11 because microsoft wants me to purchase excel and microsoft can go ^ themselves lol. I thought this mod would bypass the necessity to alter that file.

@_Fuzz_ it's under \SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\UBOAT\UBOAT_Data\Data Sheets\ in an Excel file called "General". At the bottom of the Settings tab, there's Enable Developer Console. Make the cell in Text format and change to True.

This is working fine. Make sure you have the mod enabled in the launcher. If ~/` still doesn't open it, check your key bindings.

doesnt work for me neither . tried a bunch of different things but nope :(
just read about some setting that needs to be changed in some folder from false to true and that it needs to be redone after every single patch . sad i couldnt find any further information about that folder or where to find these settings
already tried writing "-console" into start options which didnt change anything ,too .
