Don't know if its intentional or not, but a lot of the star and even nebula names are things like: Kyle, Guthrie, Shannon, Jean, etc. Again, no idea whether or not its intentional but having a black hole named "Peters" kinda takes me out of it. Playing on a 1500 size world and no other name-changing mods

I dont see how my mod would affect the spawn of storms unless they are tied to a special generation scenario.

hello, there is a problem with your mod, for some reason, space storms do not appear, from what I managed to play time, about 10 hours, on the usual settings of the spawn of storms, they do not appear. can you offer a solution or solve the problem?

Yes, the third is Core Cluster.

I think the issues should be resolved now. I acutally experimented with sth but that messed with the downward compatibility and mightve also caused @ctcaldroneys problem. Apologies for forgetting to kicking that file out of the workshop version. Should be all and well again now.

@ctcaldroney: Odd the update did not change anything about that scenario, so its weird that you would encounter issues after the update. Could you provide a screenshot (best by discord) on how the problem is looking? Maybe its some particular galaxy shape thats causing the issue.

For me it crashes on 3.14 version during loading screen, when starting new game or loading game with 2500 stars.
Also tested with starting new game with size 1500 and normal size 1000 - same outcome. With the mod turned off, galaxy size 1000 is working fine.
The crash happens during "loading map graphics".

As a follow-up, I did try un-subscribing and re-subscribing to this mod; that didn't resolve the issue. As well, I have all DLC but haven't had any issues previously.

Unfortunately (and for the first time) running into an issue w/this mod. Started a new game two weeks ago using this (along w/several other mods) and everything was working well, but on Friday 10/10 (so following the most recent update/fix) my contacts view was not displaying properly (this view was over-sized for the display) and the Shroud view only showed the 4-quadrant alignment view w/o the additional info/actions (e.g. callings and envoy assignment fields on the right were not displaying).
I disabled all mods and tested each one alone to start a new game using vanilla UNE. It finally re-occurred when using this mod (2000 stars, 4-arm spiral, some upward adjustments to wormhole and gateway frequency, etc.).
I've definitely enjoyed the gameplay options this mod offered, so I'm hoping there's an easy fix. Please let me know if there's more info I can provide that would help w/diagnosing the issue.

I know you said you could add the smaller sizes, but I'd just like to second my interest for 50 stars and an even smaller size (10-20), Currently subscribed just for the hope that it gets added soon (I have no interest in bigger galaxies, I'd rather use Gigastructure's cohesive systems mechanic to expand if I really feel like a map is too smol.)

Meh, I'm not too bothered by it. In the end it's an older game being pushed quite a bit. I have a Ryzen 7 7800 X3D and 4070 ti Super. I KNOW it isn't likely my system struggling (or perhaps it is :/) and is more than likely the game not being able to handle both mods together. Perhaps it's a conflict somewhere, like the core star generation. Beyond that I can't say. I'd have to do more testing and look at Gigastructure and see if there is a way to turn off the core parts of the map.

Generating 2,5k stars with Gigastructure did work for me at least.

Giga structure does spawn stars in the center of the map as well, like my newly added galaxy sizes also do. That might be the cause of the issue. That used to work in earlier patches but maybe something broke now. Not much on my end I could do about it.

Did some testing, found that gigastructural engineering and more events mod are the culprits. Beyond that I found no issues with the base mod. Giga will only work at vanilla size maps which voids having your mod loaded. Can't say why it doesn't like these ones, I'll have to do more testing in the future as my system is quite capable of handling your mod without issue.

Have you tried with this mod alone? Its quite possible that some other mod might cause the crash.

Not sure what it is, but I can't seem to get this mod to work. Half the time, the game crashes on load into the game. The other half it gets in the game and crashes after a few inputs. I do have a good system so idk what exactly is causing it to struggle. Beyond the fact it's 5K or more stars, that isn't lost to me. But I remember playing a while back with such sizes and had no issues.

50 stars usually, but its really fun in a weird way to play on 10 stars. there was this galaxy mod that did that but it broke

stellaris is shit at handling end-game stuff and i get lag spikes, plus, its easier (as i play tall) to micromanage tinier galaxies. 200 stars is still pretty big for a "tiny" galaxy.

Like I said I have been running a larger galaxy size mod for a while, I have an I9 processor and a rtx 4080. I can load 5000 system galaxy in a minute or two usually. But if it's working fine for you then a new confliction must have appeared somewhere, likely after a mod was updated or something, so I guess I'll just have to keep trouble shooting and also try with this alone. Thank you for the quick response!

Loading it with Gigastructure and this mod, 2,5k stars and Core Cluster also works for me. Maybe its just your PC taking super long. How big do you wanna generate?

Did you try with only this mod? Cause there might be some incompatibility causing very long loading times. Like maybe with Gigastructure engineering where it spawns in additional planets could come to mind. As I said, I just generated a 2,5k star galaxy and that worked, so its either your pc acting up or some other mod comp issue.

The only large overhaul mod I use that could possibly conflict with this given it also changes stuff related to map generation is gigastructural engineering

Yes I have been using the "More Galaxy Sizes" mod for a while now, I haven't added anything to my load order, then today out of no where, It started causing an infinite loading screen, when I found that was the cause I went to the mod and saw someone else report the same thing. So I tried this one, placing it at the top, bottom and middle of my load order, each time it resulted in an infinite loading screen regardless of the galaxy size so long as either mod is active to begin wiht.

What size does not work for you? Cause I just generated a 2,5k one and that worked fine.The thing also is that generation time exponentially increases with very big sizes.

All galaxy size mods that are still up to date, which is like two lol, are causing an infinite loading screen upon trying to start a new game now.

@Vortek Gamer: I've had both. I can get a 2,000 star galaxy to generate, but then crash after a couple of days. Anything larger than that just gets hung up in the generation process (load screen) or just gives a CTD. Could this be a load-order issue?

Hi. I'm occupying systems in the center of the galaxy. There are at least two other empires there. My borders and the borders of these empires are obscured by the fog of war, as a result of which systems are mine from the map. How do I get rid of this?

Small request that I forgot to add, could you increase the amount of fallen empires that can be spawned to higher number like 10 or more, if it could be possible.
